New Battlefield 4 screenshots released

A pair of additional high-res Battlefield 4 screenshots are released.

Yesterday we released the very first Battlefield 4 screenshots, which showed us some gorgeous examples from the singleplayer campaign. Since then, we’ve got the full 17 minute Battlefield 4 gameplay video, and now we got a pair of additional screenshots — all from the same singleplayer campaign.

Powered by the new Frostbite 3 engine, Battlefield 4 is looking very good at this stage. So far we’ve only seen the singleplayer campaign, which a lot of hardcore Battlefield fans will likely never play. We can’t wait to see what the multiplayer portion has in store for us.

Check out the two new screenshots below (click the images for high-res versions).

The water in that top shot looks pretty wonky.

That doesn’t even make sense. Wouldn’t a hardcore battlefield fan enjoy both the singleplayer and the multiplayer?

I think they meant BF Veterans who are costumed to no SP, only MP.

I’m technically a “BF Veteran” since I’ve played all Battlefield games and expansions on both PC and console yet I still love playing the campaigns (On the battlefield games that actually have them) and always complete the campaign before touching Multi player. To each their own I guess.

I’m a bf2 veteran and i can say that i’ll play the single player just for the heck of it. i paid for it so i’ll try it.
BUT the only reason you SHOULD buy bf4 is for the multiplayer.

The first screenshot looks like oilfields on the Caspian sea. Perhaps we’ll see a Multiplayer map that is set on an oilfield actually in the sea, thus using boats. Probably in a storm, or with high waves to add tot he thrill. Imagine disarming an M-COM while huge waves wash over the oil platform.
