Battlefield 4 release date hinted in GameStop ad

Another leak suggests that BF4 will indeed be released on October 29, despite EA saying it was a "placeholder date".

We’ve had a few hints for a possible Battlefield 4 release date: Microsoft leaked that the game would be hitting the store shelves in North america on October 29, while EA’s own Origin platform leaked a October 31 release date in Europe. EA has since backtracked on that, saying the Battlefield 4 release date was just a placeholder.

But now it appears it’s more than just a placeholder date. According to an ad from GameStop (seen below), Battlefield 4 will indeed be released on October 29, 2013. The poster reveals GameStop’s pre-order bonus, which includes a set of real dog tags, and the first Battlefield 4 expansion, called “Drone Strike Expansion“.

Battlefield 4 has been available for pre-order for a few weeks now, and has already risen to the top of the pre-order charts. If you’re interested in upgrading your PC hardware for Battlefield 4, you might want to wait until launch, as AMD will offer you a free copy of the game with the purchase of a Radeon HD graphics card.

Some of us can’t even preorder till next gen versions are offered and we have been shown the next Xbox’s specs and features to compare with the PS4′s. Whatever, end of May and then E3 can’t come soon enough.
