Battlefield 4 beta coming September 24?

7
The beta might be available on September 24, according to a new rumor.

According to a new Battlefield 4 image (and we’ve seen a lot of those lately), the Battlefield 4 beta will launch on September 24, 2013. The game itself will be available on October 29, 2013.

The new Battlefield 4 beta promo image comes from Twitter, and for the first time specifies the beta date. It also mentions that the beta will be available for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 — no mention of a PS4 and Xbox One version.

The image also mentions sea warfare, confirming what we heard just days ago from a leaked EB Games pre-order promo.

DICE previously confirmed that the beta will be available to all BF3 Premium subscribers, and to those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition on Origin.

DICE will show off Battlefield 4 multiplayer at E3, less than two weeks from now. We expect some beta information at E3 as well.

We don’t know if the image is real or not, but the date certainly looks plausible. The BF3 beta launched on September 29, after all.

Agreed. I personally just want Hardcore to be Hardcore. I don’t want to spend a quarter of a mag to get a kill, hit enemy infantry in the head twice or use multiple rounds from vehicles to take out one infantry soldier. Granted, I don’t want AA12 type spamming, but I think common sense should have told them where the issues were. Weapons should behave close to their real world counter parts, and with that said certain weapons destroy multiple experiences. I also beg whomever care over at DICE to rethink the bunny hopping of infantry. Soldiers drop in war, not jump away across terrain. My friends and I must be a minority who want realism without playing simulator. We also want this game slowed down a bit through higher damage. This isn’t Rambo, no one runs into a gun fight and them jumps away to come back and repeat while spamming weapons, do they?

As cool that sounds to you and everyone else who says that crap about “I want HARDCORE hardcore”, the reality is you guys would be crying in a week. If you want that level of realism and consequence, go play ARMA.

If the weapons were accurately tuned to be like their real life counterparts, along with bullet damage… it wouldn’t matter which weapon you used because they would all kill in one or two critical shots. People would just run around with a sidearms because bullets are bullets, and bullets kill. And shotguns would have WAY more range, just like they do in real life. And we all know what happens when shotguns in videogames have range…

Personally, I’m plenty satisfied with the gun damage in hardcore. I’m fine with being able to kill with one trigger pull on an AN-94’s 2-round shot.

The commercial states that the beta will be June 10th or 11th I forgot but today is the 10th and have not yet seen the beta come up on bf3 roster or on the website which is pissing me off because they were supposed to put the beta on but didn’t which means they are just saying screw you all you can wait for the actual game to come out…
