Battlefield 4 coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One

EA has announced that Battlefield 4 will be released on current and next generation platforms.

Battlefield 4 on PS4 and Xbox One
Today Microsoft unveiled their next gen console, the Xbox One. And it will be getting Battlefield 4 as a launch title this Fall. So too will the PlayStation 4. It’s already been confirmed that the main competitor to Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, will be coming out on next gen systems as well.

This means that Battlefield 4 will be released on all major current and next gen platforms, from the Xbox 360, to PS3, to Xbox One and PS4. Of course, Battlefield 4 will be released on the PC as well. However, the game will not be coming to the Wii U.

While EA announced today that Battlefield 4 will be coming to 5 different platforms, there is still no word on the exact release date. So far we’ve heard hints of late October, just like BF3 back in 2011. Hopefully we’ll get a release date at E3 in a few weeks.
