New Battlelog update sets the foundation for Battlefield 4

New Battlelog update includes improvements to support "the future of Battlelog".

EA and DICE have announced that Battlelog 2.0 will be going live in a few days. The new Battlelog update will set the foundation for Battlefield 4 and future games with improvements “under the hood” to support the future of Battlelog.

The new Battlelog updates goes live in a few days, and will mostly feature under the hood updates and a new user interface. You can check out the new user interface below:

Battlelog for Battlefield 4

We previously reported that Battlelog for Battlefield 4 will be getting new features such as more detailed stats tracking, and even lift the arbitrary 100 friend limit that’s currently imposed on Battlelog in BF3.

Battlelog has been one of the big features added to the series with BF3. Instead of a regular in-game menu, PC players browsed servers and joined games directly from their browser. However, there are some downsides with it, as it requires an Internet browser to be opened all the time, which takes up some memory.

DICE is expected to add a slew of new features for Battlelog for Battlefield 4 when the game launches this year.

Sharing is caring!

Has anyone noticed that the first banner right above the big Pre-Order Battlefield 4 one says “Battlefield 4 details”? I’m just sayin’…

EA/DICE sure are going out of their way to make sure No-One Buys BF4!
What, it’s been two weeks or more since they have had problems with everyone getting kicked off bf3 half way thru a game, that is, if they can even get on.
Now, In the middle of attempting to fix the problem they ask you to download new content for Battlelog?
It won’t download, and you can’t play until it downloads but it won’t download because the problems with the game ARE NOT FIXED!
Maybe EA/DICE think everyone will buy BF4 because their bf3 doesn’t work anymore?
That’s gotta be how they think.

You don’t need to have your browser open…you can close it as soon as the message goes into “loading level”
