DICE has released a new Battlefield 4 multiplayer gameplay video, showing the new features in the game.

Battlefield 4 multiplayer gameplayDICE showcased Battlefield 4 multiplayer for the first time ever at EA’s E3 press conference, where 64 players were on stage and played on a map called “Siege of Shanghai”. We got some additional new details about the game: Battlefield 4 squads will be increased to 5 players.

We saw the new “Levolution” feature, where a skyscraper was toppled in the game, however, this looked like a scripted event and not an organic part of the gameplay.

There were also some new details about the Battlefield 4 Commander feature. It will be available on tablets as well, where players will be able to join a match and play as Commander, without the need of a PC or console. one of the Commander weapons was confirmed as well: artillery.

Battlefield 4 launches this Fall on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The Xbox One version will be getting a timed-exclusive of the new Battlefield 4 Second Assault DLC.

I want more detail on levolution. I watched the live demo, and I dont remember, Did the water reacted to the building colapsing? on the one uploaded after the live demo it cuts the falling part(end)
Does the building fall only on that direction?
Also lets hope that all the buildings are accessable and that they all fall down.
the tank falling was a nice one.

Console play looks so slow, boring and rigid…

AHH! It looks so good! I’m glad it looks and feels a lot different from BF3. Did it seem like suppression no longer blurs your sceen?

It definitely seems that way, can’t 100% sure yet though, but the guy playing actually did get “suppression assists”.
Also very nice to see recon being more useful and actually being a part of the squad at the front.
Good to see that character models don’t look that clownesque anymore, like in BC2 and BF3.

I’m just worried about people using tablets able to sign into a game and use commander mode.

I think it’s a cool concept. Imagine that your commander is sitting in a starbucks somewhere helping your team. It seems like a special ops mission.

OMG, it’s epic. I hope the collapse of big building is not scripted.

I think it is. DICE is using the same tacits they used for BF3. New engine and “better destruction.”

Didn’t the whole game play look scripted? Helo didn’t show on the map.. How did he know a helo was going to pop up right there in front of him? How did he know the tank would stop under the support? Everyone in the squad decided to parachute from the top of the building at the same time? Almost no one shot at theplayer while the other group in his squad ran as a tight little pack and got shot at? Seems odd. Things just clicked a little too well.

      Sorry.. over the support.
Why did the rest of the squad wait for the last two guys to finally make it to the shore. They were there for a while.. Then they all ride the elevator to the top.. where no enemies were waiting? Seems like an obvious ambush spot. Why no enemies?
I’m just saying that this game play was scripted.
