Battlefield 4 spectator mode confirmed

DICE has confirmed at E3 that BF4 will be getting a spectator mode in multiplayer.

DICE just confirmed that Battlefield 4 will be getting one of the much requested features: spectator mode. This should definitely satisfy pro gamers and those playing in tournaments. The mode was revealed during today’s live streaming of Battlefield 4 multiplayer, where 64 players play in teams of 32 against each other on “Siege of Shanghai”, the map we saw during yesterday’s unveiling. You can check out a live stream of Battlefield 4 during E3 right here.

Be sure to check out the 5 minute multiplayer video posted yesterday, and the new Commander features and video as well. We’ll have more Battlefield 4 news and updates during E3, so stay tuned!

I guess that’s one step in the right direction, although Spectator mode shouldn’t have been taken out of the previous games to begin with.

All we need now is a Battlerecorder and I’ll be a little more inclined to remain a Battlefield player.

This is also a very good feature to help players detect cheaters, which for some reason isn’t even mentioned in this newspost.
