Battlefield 4 Commander screen on PC vs tablet
Battlefield 4 will bring a long awaited commander feature, where one player per team will be able to “commande” his team. The Battlefield 4 Commander will be able to launch missile strikes, deploy gunships, give orders to squads, and more, in order to help his team to victory. The Commander feature will be supported on all platforms, and on tablets as well.
In fact, players will be able to play the Commander on a tablet with no need for a PC or console at all. So far only iOS and Android tablets are supported (sorry, no Windows Tablet support yet). The two images below show the difference in the Commander screen between the PC and the tablets. The PC version certainly seems more detailed, especially the map. But that’s no big surprise, as it runs on much more powerful hardware.
While there’s a difference in graphics and some layout tweaks between the two versions, the feature set remains the same. The commander on a tablet will have access to all the features that are available on the PC.
