DICE has revealed a new set of dog tags, plus a contest to create your own dog tags.

Battlefield 4 dog tag
DICE has revealed some new Battlefield 4 dog tags via their Facebook page. The four new dog tags feature similar designs we’ve seen in BF3. And as you can see, there’s a blank dog tag as well.

That’s because DICE and EA are running a new contest, where they ask gamers to create their own dog tags, and submit to DICE. The winner will have his dog tag featured in Battlefield 4. Feel free to grab the blank version and make your own.

Battlefield 4 will feature dog tags just like BF3, which had hundreds of different editions. Battlefield 4 dog tags are expected to work in the same way, where players can customize their dog tags with two different tags. Some tags are exclusive, while others are unlocked by completing certain tasks in the game. We’re sure Battlefield 4 will feature just as many dog tags as the previous game.

Why don’t they add a feature that allows us all to create dog tags? Make things a bit more unique

speaking of tags… I really hope they re-implement the way you could see the tags youve taken at the end of round screen. (bfbc2)

keeping score of tags youve taken from your friends is fun.. having a proper record to show off is even better

      “I got your tags biatch…!!” 😛

Doesn’t Battlelog keep track of dogtags taken?

Not sure if it shows who they were take from though.

BC2 gave you a list of players you have taken tags from and how many. Battlelog only keeps the most recent player name for each of dogtag types.

BF3Stats tries to recreate the BC2 by reading those names list but it is not accurate since you might take multiples of a tag from the same or different players between bf3stats updates.
