BF4CENTRALBattlefield 4 launches with 10 maps and 7 game modes
During another gameplay-filled live interview at GamesCom, DICE just revealed that Battlefield 4 will launch with no less than 10 multiplayer maps and 7 game modes. By comparison, BF3 launched with 9 maps and 5 game modes. DICE’s Linnea Harrison confirmed the map and game mode count during an on-stage interview at GamesCom (we’ll post the video once it becomes available).
It’s also been confirmed that the Battlefield 4 Commander won’t be available in all modes, and is limited to objective based modes such as Conquest, Rush, and Obliteration. The newest game mode, Obliteration, has been showcased extensively at GamesCom. It’s unknown if all maps will support all game modes — we assume this is the case, since all BF3 maps supported all game modes.

why not adding all bf3 modes (12) in bf4 so we can have fun in all maps ? don’t tell me you will shatter them to dlcs because that would another stupid move…….
oh i forgot scavenger mode so that make them 13 game mode in bf3
they already said theres not going to be cap the flag in the stock game so it does appear that these game modes are going to be in dlc.
If they are DLC, they better apply to ALL the maps not the four with the DLC. That divided the game into so many small pieces.

Who said they would bring Scavenger and CTF etc. back. The reason theyll be in the DLC is to do changes to the game mode. This isnt COD they wont make the same stuff the same way twice……. hopefully.
Well if this wasn’t CoD then they wouldn’t put ctf in dlc instead they would give us newer game modes.

i concur, for me it wasent the glitches that ruined BF3 it was the patches that nerfed everything that was bitched about, “i cant fly choppers and that guy can nerf them now!” “this gun is overpowered nerf it” “i finally learned how to fly a chopper, and now the stinger that iv been using on the choppers when I couldn’t fly is overpowered nerf it” my point is i just hope we dont go down the same road as BF3
7 game modes? 7 damn game modes?!! No Air Sup, no Tank Sup, no CTF, not even SDM?! What the hell is this? Even stupid CoD:Ghosts cames with 15 game modes. That’s hell of a disappointment!

I agree Erdem. They want to make as much money as possible from the DLC. And they need to put the new GM’s on for ALL maps!
BF4 will launch with: Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Rush, Domination, Conquest, Defuse, and Obliteration.
Also, BF3 launched with 9 maps, not 10 like BF4. So you’re freaking out for nothing.
I’ll have you know that I play on PC and rush is actually my favorite gamemode.

It does not, 10+ maps for the base game.
You pretty much must buy premium to get the full experience. Luckily for me, I was planning on buying it anyway..it’s a shame though
im sure that Naval Warfare is being pushed to the max in BF4, there will definite be a “Naval Superiority” game type in which each team is given like 20 boats and you capture bouoy (?) points out at sea..possibly with small islands to set up infantry with rockets and stuff.
unless they do something similar to the ‘Limited Edition’ from BF3 which wasn’t very limited, it was available for purchase more than a year after its release :/
welcome to big business gaming, be ready to pay at least 3/4’s what you pay full retail for this game by the time you get even close to 13 game mode’s.. I don’t know how anyone could expect anything different for maps on the other hand.

No one said it belongs to china.. Bf4 is just set in south east asia…
shame on you EA. you give ppl a lie and flatter chinese gamers so they play your game. Paracel has nothing to do with us, russia or china. paracel is definitely Vietnamese’s territory. check it before officially releasing the game.
I love how everyone is getting pissed about the game modes. Its Battlefield there is going to be a shit ton to do no matter. Also there is probably a lot we havent been told about. Quit complaining people

Who cares? According to poll 73% of people would still play CQ and rush and another 15% obliteration. These mods are unpopulare so DICE decided to remove them.
