Battlefield 4 China Rising DLC launches on December 3rd

26
The China Rising expansion pack officially launches on December 3, 2013 for Premium and Xbox One players.

Battlefield 4 China Rising DLCEA and DICE have announced the launch date for the very first Battlefield 4 DLC. China Rising will launch on December 3rd, just over a month after the game launches (which is officially today). However, the early access on December 3 is only for those with Premium membership, and those playing on the Xbox One console.

The China Rising expansion is available for free to everyone who pre-ordered the game — just like Back to Karkand was with BF3 back in 2011. It’s also available for free of you’re a Premium member. Otherwise, you’ll have to fork up $15.

The Battlefield 4 China Rising DLC includes 4 new maps set in China, in addition to featuring new weapons, vehicles, awards, unlocks, and more. The China Rising DLC previously went under the name “Drone Strike”, which was used in some early promotional material.

China Rising is the first of five Battlefield 4 expansion packs. The other four are expected to be released each quarter starting in Q1 2014. The DLCs are expected to retail at $15 per pop, unless you purchase a $50 Premium subscription, which gives free access to all DLC, plus many other goodies (such as Battlepacks, new dog tags, weapon camos, double XP events, and more).

You could’ve had 4 more maps to play today if they weren’t so greedy.

Exactly. Which is why I will vote with my wallet and NOT buy that rushed piece of diarrhea. So many better things to spend the money on than a bug-ridden cheater-infested crap.

What? Lol, where the hell did you hear that? They’re working on Mirror’s Edge and Battlefront III, and the next Battlefield game will probably be Bad Company 3 or 2143.

Knowing EA, it’s pretty likely they’re already working on the first DLC for their next BF game. And probably working on BF5 as well beside BC3. And their DLC as well. 😉

without current-gen consoles support for battlefield games you wouldn’t get BF4 in 2 years with all this awesome stuff in it but maybe after 3 , 4 or 5 years until they collect enough money & probably on the same engine too , we are the other half heart of battlefield lol even next-gen consoles will help EA/DICE to make every battlefield games so if we got pulled off you gonna play the game alot longer than you should .

NooB?! You’re just making it worse now. I’ve played every Battlefield game and expansion they’ve ever made on both PC and console so sorry “kid”, don’t think because you play on PC it somehow makes you a “pro”, your attitude shows that your just a child.

The scheduling for Premium and China Rising is off. So Second Assault comes out on Xbox 11/22 before the free China Rising preorder maps.? Weird. Whatever, let’s rock and roll!

Who didn’t see this coming? EA ” If you dish out another 50$ or buy a POS Xbox One you will gain access to the dlc 2 weeks early.” They’re saying piss on the people who preordered the game, we’ll punish them by making them wait an extra 2 weeks because they didn’t buy premium. Lol greed will catch up to them, I guarantee it!
