New PS4 and PS3 patches fix some of the sound and crashing problems.

Battlefield 4 PS4 patch

Yesterday, without much fanfare, DICE rolled out a new Battlefield 4 patch for the PlayStation 4 and PS3. The new patch fixes some of the issues that were introduced with the previous patch, such as the infamous sound bug.

In addition to fixing the sound bugs, the new patch also fixes the spawning issue, where the game would crash if a players spawned in the gunner seat of certain vehicles. Most of the other patch features come from the recent PC patch, including the “0 HP” bug and some terrain issues.

The PS3 and PS4 Battlefield 4 patches are nearly identical. You can find the full PS4 change log here (PS3 here).

DICE has confirmed that they are working on a new Battlefield 4 patch for the PC, which might be released at the end of this month, and might include the recently discussed gameplay tweaks.

The Xbox 360 got these updates in a patch last week. No word on when the Xbox One might get this patch — it’s been over three weeks since the last Xbox One Battlefield 4 patch.

This patch has made the game worse!!! Soooo much rubber banding its crazyyy! Like wtf Dice? Every patch is worse and worse. Soon going to stop playing till all this shit is fixed. Its solo annoying for someone to pay over $100 on a game that is not playable. I got a ps4 for this game and the frame rate is never 60 fps ever and all that happened in 64 man servers is rubber band every 3 seconds and now after this update its even happening in tdm.. Time for this shit to be fixed!!!!

I repeat a question I’ve added some time ago but it seems that no admin reads these comment: Why don’t you update the Weapons page on this website to reflect the reality: It more than likely was copied after BF3 weapons….(it still includes M16A3 for example and says that carbines can be used only by the engineers …)

they probably figure since most people here know what you can use in the classes and that the A3 is really the A4 in bf4 that changing it on the site isn’t a priority

And not only no sound. when there is sound it is never correct.. you never hear the proper # of bullets to hit you or around you so you dont know when your getting shot at. next is when your in a jet or chopper and you dont hear the incoming missile sound you just get impacted ( and i dont mean a RPG or any dumb fire missiles ) you get the lock on then a single sound saying its is on the way then it hits you. not even a second to hit the ECM/Flares. and that has happened a lot to me and not close to the ground, sometimes very high in the air…. but on another hand i was playing last night and it actually ran smooth which was a great sigh of relief. but netcode still a problem with latency in your movement. i hate going behind cover just to still get shot by the person behind the wall… this is still a very big problem!!!!!

Think a little before you rant ;P
Bullets and missiles are faster than sound so you’ll never hear them before getting hit.
