New Battlefield 4 patch for PC and servers coming tomorrow
DICE has announced that a brand new Battlefield 4 patch is in the final stages of certification, and will be most likely be released tomorrow. DICE didn’t reveal any specifics about the patch, but we expect the usual list of bug fixes and tweaks.
The Battlefield 4 server patch, R32 (the 32nd server patch to date) will be released tomorrow as well. Just like with the PC patch, DICE released no patch notes or details about the server update.
Over the past few weeks, Battlefield 4 has seen serious netcode and rubber-banding problems, especially when playing on the new maps introduced with the Naval Strike expansion. The netcode and lag problems have been worst on the PS4 and Xbox One, where the game is unplayable at times.
The netcode and server issues are so bad, that a few weeks ago, DICE announced that they were upgrading their Battlefield 4 server hardware in order help alleviate some of the problems.
