Battlefield 4 Air Superiority

Battlefield 4 air superiorityBattlefield 4 Air Superiority is a multiplayer game mode that exclusively uses air vehicles, such as jets. Air Superiority in Battlefield 4 is similar to previous games: the control points hover in the air, and are easily captured by jets who circle around them. The mode is intended for those who love flying jets, as all of the combat takes place in the air. The game mode was introduced with the China Rising DLC. It’s the second game mode introduced through DLC, the other one being Capture The Flag.

Battlefield 4 Air Superiority rules

In Battlefield 4 Air Superiority, players automatically spawn in a jet and join the battle. The entire match takes place in the air — it’s not possible to land or go on foot in the game mode. There are usually three capture points scattered around the map, and players must fly close to the control points in order to capture them.

Just like regular Conquest, each team has a certain amount of tickets. Tickets are lost every time a player dies, or if the team holds less than 50% of the control points.

Battlefield 4 Air Superiority tips

The Battlefield 4 Air Superiority game mode is entirely based on jets in the game. Which means that players have to be good pilots and fighters with the aircraft, otherwise the player is an easy prey to the more experienced fliers.

Air Superiority needs to be altered as soon as possible. Matches are lasting 5 minutes on average. Dice needs to boost the score limit to make 30 minute matches at least. The shortness of the matches takes away the fun

This game mode is awesome. Its so fast paced and intense that it doesn’t matter if you have a short match. I personally think the weapons on the stealth jet are dismal. But the helicopter matches are awesome for those who can’t easily grasp the jets..overall I rate this 8/10..

How do you get this game mode to work on Xbox one? I downloaded the night fighting dlc which but it still gives me a message saying ‘buy dlc’. Also, I can’t seem to get this game mode to open

To all who are confused: Buy the China Rising DLC – Then go to Quick Match – Select the Air Superiority game mode – Good to go
