Battlefield 4 assault rifles

76

Battlefield 4 assault riflesThe Battlefield 4 assault rifles will focus on modern weapons, just like the previous games. Assault rifles such as the M16A4, the AK-74, the G3A3, will be part of Battlefield 4, since the game features a modern setting. The Battlefield 4 assault rifles are faction based, although a large amount of rifles can be unlocked and used by all factions (such as the M416, the AEK-971, F2000 etc.).

Battlefield 4 assault rifles list

Battlefield 4 includes many assault rifles of all kinds, from all over the world. Here’s a list of all the rifles found in the game. Some of these are starting rifles and are faction specific, while most can be unlocked and used by all factions.

Battlefield 4 assault rifles unlocks

Battlefield 4 assault rifles unlocksLike most other weapons in the game, assault rifles in Battlefield 4 have their own unlocks. These include flashlights, scopes, silencers, and more. They are unlocked simply by earning kills with a particular rifle. The more you play with the same rifle, the more unlocks you earn, and the more choices you have when it comes to picking the right gear for the right map.

Some of the attachments and accessories for the assault rifles include the angled grip, the vertical grip, canted iron sights, the flash light and laser sight, and many more.

Like other weapons in the game, the assault rifles can be equipped with a variety of sights of scopes, from the Reflex sight, to the popular ACOG scope, and even the night vision capable IRNV.

Battlefield 4 assault rifles tips

Battlefield 4 assault rifles tipsBattlefield 4 assault rifles are some of the most versatile weapons in the game. Rifles such as the G3A3 and the SCAR-L can effective at very long ranges when equipped with a powerful scope. They can be equipped with grenade launchers to take out light vehicles and enemies behind cover. They can even equip under-barrel shotguns for close range engagements.

Depending on the mission and map, you can customize your assault rifle to suit the purpose. For large, open maps, a scope and heavy barrel would be very effective with a rifle such as the AN-94. In tight infantry based maps, a shotgun attachment and faster firing rifle would be better (such as the AEK-971). Assault rifles have and will always be one of the key Battlefield 4 weapons in the game.

Even though the AK-47 is outdated, I’d like to see it in Batltefield for just because I like it more than the AK-74. It’s more classic and a fan favorite for me.

AK-103 uses nato 5.56 rounds. Not the AK rounds. Only the 47 and 74 use them.

The ak 47 and ak 74 dont use the same round. and the ak 103 DOESNT use 5.56 rounds.

          Actually the AK-103 uses a 5.45 same with the 74. AK-47 uses a 7.62 Russian Round.

Guys the AK 103 would be awesome in the next Battlefield games but just for you to know it fires 7.62 AK rounds and there is a prototype that fires 5.45 AK rounds two. So yea ur both right

          June 20th, 2013 at 3:31 pm

you dont know what ur talking about ak 103 is in 7.62×39 ak 101 and 102 is in 5.56×45. but they should have the ak 12 in various calibers. ak 12 means avtomat kalashnikov 2012.

The AK47 is outdated but the AKM is the same thing and is both newer and more common. Almost every weapon thought to be a 47 is actually an akm. The AKM is outdated but is still used by forces with low funding as well as terrorists. Good enough excuse for bf4

      June 20th, 2013 at 2:00 pm

Wow, I just realized how old these replies and posts are, anyway. The Ak-105 is used in BF4 I think, and some other Soviet/Russian weapons are used that are NOT in BF3.

You guys know that yeah traditionally the 103, 104, 47 are 7.62 mike is right but people have been know to take those rifles and modify em to a 7.62 or 5.45 or 5.56 it may have the look but just depends on who has modified their rifle to shoot a certain caliber.

PLEASE let the 416 be a more powerful AR this time around when using single shot mode in MP. Hardcore mode as well.. I felt that it was pretty decent in BF3, but was almost ruined by how many people wanted the SCAR and others (like the 416) to be nerfed in damage.
I say, either make an EXTREME HC mode (where 2 hits does it) OR start taking a mil-sim approach to the ballistics and allow the ARs to really be potent when not in full auto. Everyone uses full auto, but in single shot, you should be rewarded for putting a double tap on a sprinting target w/ a kill

I deal the same. I only like the m16a3, M416 and the Scar. If there is nothing else then this. I will not buy Battlefield 3. It will be crap i think.

They should put the M27 assault rifle in the game especially since it is given the credit for killing binladin. And it is the weapon that thw marines have adopted since 2011.

It would be nice if they placed damage stats to the type of ammo used instead of the weapon itself. (IE, HK G3A3 takes 3 shots to the chest, but the FN SCAR-H takes 4-5?) Also I would like to see the return of the Magpul Masada (ACW-R for the people that don’t know). Remington and Bushmaster also make the ACW, but their version is centered towards the civilian market. Magpul was the original creators.

This list is just a prediction of what will be included in BF4 as far as fan favorites from the previous titles. As far as the comments about the 416 being too weak or the G36c being a weaker version of the full size G36K, I have to ask if you guy have ever fired a real steal counterpart to these firearms? The G36C is a COMPACT G36. The only thing it lacks in comparison is range and stability due to it’s cut down size. The 416 is an AR15 platform chambered in 5.56×45 NATO more commonly known in the civilian market as the .223 Remington (yes, they are slightly different depending on your rifle, give it a rest) My point is that your talking about a .22 inch diameter slug that’s been stuffed into a larger casing. So, it’s a really small round that travels at a really high velocity. The round isn’t that powerful, they’re advertised as varmit rifles on the civilian market. Yes, you can kill a dear with it and yes you could sure as hell kill another person with it. But, when you compare it (tissue damage and force on impact) to say the 7.62x39Soviet or the comparable .308 Winchester it’s a pea shooter. This is why guns ranging in higher calibers in the game or guns using higher pressure rounds similar to the 5.56 tend to do more damage. Because, they actually would. Oh, and the ACW is patented by Magpul and manufactured by both Remington and Bushmaster. Magpul simply owns the rights to the design. They don’t manufacture the firearm themselves. Just thought I should throe that information out there…

    • Mitchell
      June 29th, 2013 at 3:37 pm

Actually your not correct. the brilliance of the 5.56 is that its far more accurate than its larger counterparts, you can carry more of them because they are lighter, and it actually does MORE damage than your 7.62. now its true the 7.62 is a more “powerful” round in the traditional sense that doesn’t necessarily translate into a more “deadly” or “damaging” round. when a 5.56 hits human being. DEPENDING on range obviously. but generally the round will “tumble” through the body as opposed to just passing straight through like a traditional 7.62 does. this “Tumbling” of the round actually does far more damage to tissue, organs, and muscles than a round that just “pokes a hole.” if you will. that being said. both rounds are extremely useful in there respective niches and there’s a reason the US military still uses both.

      • Reggo
        July 30th, 2013 at 12:55 pm

The 7.62 is known for tumbling that is one of the reasons it causes so much damage. Not even on the hottest day in hell will the 5.56 be more deadly than the 7.62. Yes, the 5.56 fragments but it is not as deadly as you think. The US Army soldiers actually complain about the 5.56 not being deadly enough vs the killing power of a 5.45 which has been dubbed the “poison bullet.” Ironically though they both are only .22 caliber rounds. The AK-47 is infamous on the streets of New Orleans and here it is known as a “cutter” because of the wounds the bullets leave if they actually tumble. They have to travel a certain distance for the bullets to start tumbling.

      • jasper
        September 19th, 2013 at 8:44 am

accuracy will depend on the level of training and the quality of training the soldier gets and has will affect the the accuracy. also the RPM will affect the accuracy because a slower rate of fire guns cycles the rounds slower you can control the recoil of the gun and a bullpup gun will be more accurate because the firing system is towards the butt of the gun there for making the guns recoil more controlable. damage wise its also depends on where the bullet hits the body, for instance if a bullet hit a bone the bone will splinter and break on impact and the shards of bone will puncher tissue, organs and muscle. so the 7.62x51mm round does more damage but a 5.56x45mm nato round would do the same or more damage depending on the skill of the shooter and the placement on the round. also the length of the barrel with alter the damage of the roun. so on a whole no one type of bullet does more damage then another bullet and a lot of factors depend on the damage of the bullet.

You need to get out to a real shooting range some weekend :)

    • Mitchell
      June 29th, 2013 at 3:44 pm

in fact. in many cases where a 5.56 hits someone in lets say the middle of the chest, and there is an exit wound its more often than not in a strange place. for example rather than going in the chest and out the back, it will go in the chest and out maybe the arm pit or out the side. because of the tumble of the round. this is a devastating characteristic. of course your 5.56 is good for humans but if you need to say stop a vehicle or something the 5.56 wont puncture the engine block where the 7.62 will. stopping said vehicle

    July 22nd, 2013 at 2:21 pm

Actually the sheer force of the 7.62 will just bust half your organs . But yes it tumbles and will kill…..but it may be five minutes later so it still needs the good old double tap . And that’s why the 6mm bullets where made tradeoffs in power and velocity creating the best ”Black rifle” round for military use. For example 6.8 SPC, 6.8 Grendel and if memory serves 6.5 Remington.

  30. WVW4
    July 27th, 2013 at 12:40 pm

I would like to see them stop messing with the weapon stats. Just make them statistically correct and let the gamers decide which weapons they like. I.E. why does a semi-auto marksman rifle that uses the same round as a bolt action sniper cause less damage?

    • DarkSyd
      September 26th, 2013 at 3:33 pm

Exactly. Same ammo coming from different guns is going to amount to pretty much the same thing downrange (unless you start talking pistols with really short barrels). Different firearms may be more or less inherently accurate, but the amount of damage they do should be dictated by the round it fires. Same as the BS in BF3 about ‘increased damage at the expense of more recoil’ for the heavy barrel gadget. You don’t even need a physics degree to see how completely wrong that is.
