Battlefield 4 Battlescreen
The Battlefield 4 Battlescreen is a feature which allows players to use a secondary screen (such as a tablet). Battlescreen in Battlefield 4 lets players link up a tablet or smartphone and use the device as a second screen to show the mini-map, or to customize their soldier loadout, and more.
Battlefield 4 Battlescreen is a brand new feature introduced with BF4, and currently only supports PC and next gen system. Battlescreen is a web-based technology, and can run on a variety of mobile devices. PC players can also use their secondary monitor to show the minimap and stats in the game as they’re playing.
Battlefield 4 Battlescreen features
Battlescreen in Battlefield 4 is linked via Battlelog, and is tightly integrated with the service. Players can use their tablets and mobile device to change their laodouts while they’re waiting to respawn, and they can use the secondary screen as a more detailed map of the battlefield. The Commander mode can be played entirely on a tablet, instead of a PC or console, where the player has access to all the features of the Commander mode on the mobile device itself. Players can also manage their Platoons using the Battlescreen.
Device support: only smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android are supported. For more detailed Battlefield 4 Battlescreen features, such as the map overview, a tablet is required. The Commander feature can only be played on tablets as well.
