Battlefield 4 Bipod

Battlefield 4 bipodBattlefield 4 Bipod is an accessory that can be unlocked and applied to most weapons in the game. The bipod in Battlefield 4 works in the same way it did in previous games: it offers the player to deploy on almost any surface, and greatly increases accuracy of any weapon with the bipod deployed.

The bipod uses the under-rail slot, meaning it cannot be used with any grips in the game.

Battlefield 4 Bipod info

Battlefield 4 bipod renderThe Battlefield 4 bipod is highly effective when used with a heavy machine gun, as it decreases recoil and adds to accuracy. This results in powerful suppression fire, especially if the player has a good position with cover. The bipod is also effective when used with sniper rifles, as it removes any scope sway.

The Battlefield 4 bipod is deployed by pressing down the “aim” button next to a surface. If there is no surface near, the player will simply aim down the sights like usual. If the player is prone, the bipod will deploy on the ground when aimed. In order to remove the bipod, simply press the aim button again.

The Bipd has some issues when deploying it. I am a fanatic support player and there for find this bug very annoying.
When i am on the ground and aim down the sight the bipod doesn’t always deploy. Even when i am in a building (straight floor) the bipod sometimes won’t deploy. This isn’t so bad when i am not under fire, but when i am under fire and go to the ground to deploy the bipod for better aim and the bipod won’t deploy it is VERY annoying when i get shot because of this problem.
Do more pll have trouble with this? And to be sure it doesn’t accure much but it happend to many times if you ask me.

when in deployment, simply quick switch the item to another, then switch back . that solved the problem for me

It doesnot work every time bt i found out by myself that to put the bipod down nearlly all the time you pull a tiny little bit pack on the right stick and then deploy bipod (xbox360) may still work on ps4/ps3

Try just taping the aiming button. Always works for me but I’m on ps3

Quick question? Does the bipod negate corner peeking. I have never had any trouble with it before, but I just put a bipod on my scar h, and now i cant seem to peer around corners. I can, however, still look over cover

Pull back on the let trigger ever so slightly, works every time 😉

Hey, great tip with bipod. Use AN-94 with heavy barrel, bipod, and PKS 3.4 scope. This will make it a great full-auto DMR basically.

Also, if bipod will not deploy, look down at ground, and press LT/Mouse 2.
