Battlefield 4 F-22 Raptor

18

Battlefield 4 F-22 RaptorBattlefield 4 F-22 Raptor is a stealth fighter jet used by the US faction in Battlefield 4 multiplayer and singleplayer. The F-22 Raptor in Battlefield 4 is one of three stealth fighter jets, the other two being the Russian SU-50, and the Chinese J-20. The Battlefield 4 F-22 Raptor is the most advanced fighter jet in the world, and is easily one of the most powerful vehicles in the game, if used with a skilled pilot.

The Lockheed Martin F-22 has been in development for over 10 years before finally entering production. Because of its high costs — it’s the most expensive fighter jet in history — the plane stopped production in 2011. About 200 F-22 Raptor fighter jets are in service today. The jet makes its first appearance in the Battlefield series in BF4.

Battlefield 4 F-22 Raptor stats

The F-22 raptor is very similar in handling and weaponry to the two other stealth fighter jets, the J-20 and the SU-50. All jets have similar main and secondary weapons, and share the same unlocks as well. The F-22 is slightly faster than the other two jets. The F-22 is similar in looks and performance to the F-35 as well.

  • Top speed: 2,400 km/h
  • Main cannon: 20 mm, 6-barreled gatling gun
  • Secondary weapon: air to air missiles, rockets, guided missiles
  • Seats: 1
  • Faction: US faction

Battlefield 4 F-22 Raptor tips

The Battlefield 4 F-22 Raptor is very similar in handling and performance as the other stealth fighter jets. This is mainly because of gameplay balance. While the F-22 is a stealth fighter, it can still be spotted by enemies, and it’s still vulnerable to anti air rockets from AA vehicles such as the Tunguska. Therefore, many of the same tips apply: use Flares against enemy AA, and stay low.

Battlefield 4 F-22 Raptor unlocks

The Battlefield 4 F-22 Raptor features the same unlocks as other fighter jets, including Flares, Air Radar, various missile and guided bombs, and more.

Actually , the t 50 is a way more superior stealth fighter than the f 22 raptor , due to its higher maneuverability , shorter take off distance (350 meters , whilst the f22 needs 915 meters) , 2 tonnes lighter , travels 1.5 times faster, reaches nearly twice the distance without the need to re fuel (t 50 =4300 km whilst f22 =2500km) , 30 % cheaper and much more !!!! But as usual these americans cant admit that their f22 is no longer the best!

meh, you have the facts, but one in real life the PAK FA can’t compete with the raptor. The f22’s have a feature where missiles can lock before they know where they are as well as a HMD (helmet mounted display) to lock on to targets any where around the f22. There are also multiple airborne weapon systems

The f-15 has missles that can lock on without alerting the enemy, the AIM-120 AMRAAM. which uses the planes radar to lock on the targets area, and when the missle is launched it doesn’t activate its own radar until within 10-8 miles (approx.). Which means the enemy wont get a missle lock warning until its only 8 miles away, Which gives them a few seconds. And the f-15 came into use in 1976 I think. The PAK-FA is extremely maneuverable, and much cheaper as well. Not to mention in Russia, they build jets to defend the country. Where as in the US they build jets so Lockheed martin can get rich. Just like the JSF which is a terrible plane, but its the biggest acquisition in military history, leaving half a dozen NATO countries with ineffective defenses for the next 40 years (against the PAK-FA). Not to mention there was massive testing done replicating air combat with FA18s F22s and F35s Vs the PAK FA and the Chinese plane, and NATO lost nearly every scenario.

You also have to take in account for the things you don’t know. Obviously a lot of stuff is classified about a jet as high tech as the Raptor so, it still is the best.

Not neccessarily you do have the facts right for the most part on paper it looks like the SU T-50 PAK FA is better than the F-22 RAPTOR you are forgetting one thing the f 22 has 2D thrust vectoring whilst the t 50 has 3D that sounds like the t50’s thrust vectoring is better right? Well not neccessarily in the future when 3D thrust vectoring technology is perfected then yes but at this moment no let me explain: the f 22 has it’s 2D thrust vectoring set up for pitch control while the t 50 has it’s 3D thrust vectoring set up for pitch, yaw, roll, and any combination of the 3 but it is much more limited than the f 22’s 2D thrust vectoring which can get almost 90 degrees so theoretically in a turning fight on performing a knife edge the f 22 should be able to out turn the t 50 but I digress these aren’t huge differences when it comes down to it neither one is more stealthy than the other so it’s the pilots that matter I’m and American and I’m not going to lie I like the f 22 but to me the t50 looks better but I still think it was the wrong aircraft for Russia to pursue I personally prefer the SU-47 BERKUT which in a dogfight could out perform even the Chinese J-20 well that’s the end of this enormous comment bye

The Sukhoi T-50 is in its testing stage and is estimated to be released in 2016. The F-22 Raptor was in service since 2005. The T-50 is 10 years ahead of the F-22, so of course it is better. Much more modern technology.
By the way, this message came from an American, so you can stop using stereotypes and being arrogant. Kthxbai.

You are right and wrong but the PAK FA would probably be pretty hard to defeat with a f22

The T-50 is not “1.5 times faster” than the F-22, as someone said above, and that’s just the tip of the misinformation iceberg here. They are very similar aircraft in all respects (aside from the F-22 being operational and deployed, and the T-50 still in prototype phase). Virtually all Russian fighters and bombers have been modeled after US aircraft since the 1960s, and now the Chinese are following suit.

And the F-22 is not even in BF4, so this entire discussion is moot anyway.

The F-22 raptor is the finest aircraft the U.S. ever had. On the other hand the F-15 never got shot down therefore the air force calls it the king of the skies. F-16 in one of our lethal birds that we got but can dodge more silos than any other bird can. Battlefield I recommend if you can please make naval warship available in the next battlefield or the next dlc. Also we would like to have the F-15 and/or the F-22. But please bring in the warships. Such as the destroyer or submarine or aircraft carrier or the battleship. Please dice. Let us drive, command, destroy warships. Its the perfect thing to have to be a captain of a ship. Come on dice.

This isnt the F-22 in game. You’re mistaking the F-35 for an F-22. They are 2 different planes.
