Well the Abrams in BF4 have a 120mm smoothbore cannon like in all others battlefield, wich is rare in BF3 and 4 because is the “m1” version so should be have a 105mm cannon, not like the M1A2 (BC2) this version really have the 120mm. just for you guys know 🙂

The canon on the M1A2 is 120mm, 105mm is the M1A1.

@Jordan. Actually the M1A1 also has the 120mm smoothbore. It was the early M1 (prior to the A1) that had the 105mm rifled cannon I’m pretty sure.

Ditto on the 120mm thing. It has “M1A2” in parenthesis to specify which version of the Abrams is. I really wonder why they have 105mm listed in the stats being that it is incorrect, and BF of all people should know the difference (I assume). I certainly hope they don’t treat the tank in game as a 105 being that that would underpower the Abrams compared to the other nations, and the idea that a mil game that is showing the most recent modern combat technology available would allude that The United States would be using an 1980’s version of the Abrams.

The game developers are very wrong in simulating these tanks in the game.
They should have put the unique features of these 3 main battle tanks i.e. a much better kinetic protection and fire control with the abrams tank, a superior mobility (80km/hr) with the type-99, and an active defence plus guided shells with the T-90, and good protection against shaped charges (rpg, LAW, ATGM’s , HEAT ammo) for both t-90 & type 99 due to their explosive reactive armor plates.

Actually the Abrams featured in-game is equipped with the TUSK kit, and as such has ERA lining the sides.
