Battlefield 4 M1 Abrams
The Battlefield 4 M1 Abrams (or M1A2) is the main battle tank for the US faction in Battlefield 4 multiplayer. The M1 Abrams has been in service since 1980, and is still widely considered the most powerful and advanced tank in the world. The Battlefield 4 M1 Abrams features several unlocks, including better armor protection, guided projectile, smoke screen and more.
The M1 Abrams (M1A2) has been featured in the Battlefield series since BF2 in 2006, where it also was the main battle tank for the US faction (Marines).

The M1 Abrams in Battlefield 4 compares well to its main rival, the Russian T-90 tank. While the T-90 is a bit faster on straight roads, the M1 Abrams is easier to maneuver at low speeds. The Chinese Type 99 main battle tanks falls somewhere in between.

Like all other main battle tanks, the Battlefield 4 M1 Abrams can be used in a variety of ways. It can both attack and defend and objective, and can be virtually unstoppable when paired with a good gunner and Engineer who can repair it on the fly.
When fighting other tanks and vehicles in the game, it’s important to keep moving and not staying in a single position for too long. This is especially important when engaging tank destroyers such as the Sprut-SD.

The M1 Abrams in Battlefield 4 features numerous unlocks. They range from secondary light and heavy machine guns, to defensive unlocks such as better armor and smoke screen. The way to unlock the accessories is to simply play and earn points while being in the tank.
