The Battlefield 4 rocket launchers selection includes famous and popular rocket launchers like the RPG-7, the Javelin. It even features portable anti-air missile launchers such as the Stinger. Rocket launchers in Battlefield 4 are limited to the Engineer class, and are mainly intended for use against vehicles. However, they are very effective against infantry as well.

Each faction starts out with their own rocket launcher, and can later unlock several more. Portable anti-air missile launchers can be unlocked as well, and are suitable against jets and helicopters. Battlefield 4 rocket launchers don’t feature any accessory unlocks, but players can equip additional ammo for them. The list also includes some grenade launchers.
Battlefield 4 rocket launchers tips
Each rocket launcher in Battlefield 4 has its own advantages and disadvantages. The starting rocket launchers (RPG-7 and SMAW) are good overall weapons that can be used against anything. For more specific tasks, the Javelin is great against vehicles, while the Stinger and Igla can only be used against aircraft.
When engaging vehicles, try and hit them from the side or the back. When engaging enemy infantry, fire at a surface close to the enemy, as hitting them directly with the rocket is often a difficult task. The Javelin is the most effective rocket launcher against vehicles, but cannot be used against buildings or infantry.
Some of the rocket launchers, or rather, grenade launchers, can only be picked up at select points on a map, and cannot be equipped. These include the M32MGL, which is an advanced grenade launcher that can be used by any class and all factions in the game. Unlike most other Battlefield 4 weapons, rocket launchers can only be unlocked and used by the Engineer class in the game.
Rocket launcher unlocks
Unlike other weapons in the game, the rocket launchers do not have their own dedicated unlocks. The only “unlock” that’s available is the explosives perk, which doubles the amount of rockets players carry, from 3 to 6. This is the case for the AT mines that Engineers can equip and the C4 explosives used by the Recon class.
