Battlefield 4 system requirements

Battlefield 4 system requirements
The minimum PC system requirements for Battlefield 4 are expected to be:
- Dual core CPU (Intel Core i5 or AMD “Bulldozer”).
- At least 4 GB main system memory
- Graphics card with at least 512 MB of VRAM and support for DirectX 10
- 30+ GB of harddrive space
- Windows Vista
Recommended system requirements
The recommended PC system requirements for optimal visual quality and frame rates:
- Quad core CPU (Intel Core i5 or i7) at 3 Ghz
- 4 GB memory (8 GB for 64-bit operating systems)
- A modern DX11 graphics card with 2+ GB of video memory, GeForce 600 series or Radeon 7000 series
- Windows 7 64-bit operating system (Windows 8 is supported as well)
- 30+ GB of free harddrive space
Battlefield 4 is slightly optimized for AMD hardware, since the game also runs on next gen consoles, which are powered by AMD CPUs and GPUs. This means that gamers with AMD PC graphics cards might see a slight advantage. Both Nvidia and AMD offer Battlefield 4 optimized PC drivers. Be sure to also check out our Best graphics cards for Battlefield 4 article, with an in-depth analysis on the best GPUs for the game.
BF4CENTRAL
Nice, I’m glad the 600 series is the recommended graphics card range.
How about you please shut up.. lol no but seriously everyone calm down and thing thats a quad core will hand this game paired with a decent gpu. if you want to max this game out on ultra heres your best hope look at the 7850 4GB edition your going to need a minimum of 2gb vram on your gpu. and atleast 6gb DDR3 or 8gb DDR2
for lowbudget ive maxed BF3 out at 1080p with a AMD Phenom II x4 955 paired with a 7950 3gb and 8gigs DDR3 ram and got around 90FPS Avg dependent on what levels i was on (MAPS) and multiplayer and singleplayer made a big diffrence as well.
You might be able to play the game with a very good dual core like INTEL dual core FORGET IT ON AMD but intel dual core like the i3 or i7 MOBILE dual core with a very good gpu will be playable but most likly not at ULTRA.
everyone said you needed TWO 6870s to play on medium when bf3 came out they were full of shit i was rocking a 7870 x 1 and maxed it on ultra JUST MAKE SURE U HAVE ATLEAST 2gb vram for anything above high settings.
if your using the old quad cores like core 2 quad, or AMD Athlon quad cores, then overclock as much as you can and get the best gpu upto 7870 that you can get even a 7950 will do.
Ive tried play with quad crossfire 1gb vid cards AND IT DID NOTHING BF3 and bf4 will require minimum of 2gb VRAM on your gpu to max it out. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
Bullshit, I maxed BF3 on 1.25gb on my gtx 570 and I suspect Ill be able to do the same on bf4 with a little overclocking.
The sys requirements mentioned above are a guide, e.g. When it says you require a 600 series card, you gotta remember a 1.25gb gtx 570 and 2gb 660 are around equal in power. You can get a 4gb gt 640 and pit it against a 1gb 560ti and the 560 will run circles around it. Stop looking for higher numbers and look at the bigger picture man.
Also, those of you saying you cant max it on an AMD cpu heres something to ponder, the AMD FX 8350 runs faster than the Intel Core i5 3570K in games. The i5 is technically faster core for core, but the fx has more cores.
indeed! i’m absolutely sure i’ll get a smooth gameplay with my 570’s sli and my 2500k @4.8… if i can play bf3 on ultra with 80fps i’m sure i’ll get 60+ fps on this one

and without OC on vga… i’ve got my 2 vga’s with wc and they never pass 48ºc
as for the ram 16gb of vengeance will do the trick and ssd raid0 will make loading times shorter… (about 15sec faster)
You are completely incorrect about the FX beating a 3570k in gaming. Do your research before posting stuff like this. Will the FX play the game fine, yes.
FX does not outperform the i5 in games or even anything for that matter.
These benchmarks is with stock and overclocked.

Got a question for you do you think i will run bf4 without any problems with an gtx 550 TI video card?
You’re right, the most recent tests with updated drivers/BIOS are showing the FX 8350 does do better in pretty much every aspect of gaming than the 3570K. The impressive thing though, is that if you are streaming a game live, the 8350 beats out even the i7 3770K.
No question that BF4 will take advantage of the AMD architecture and that you will most definitely see better performance out of AMD chips than Intel equivalents in this game.
nah i think i can run this in 114fps surely but its on a window mode hahahaa
Well you know not everyone knows how to overclock their processor.
you are a expert…after 2 BF’s tops and you have never seen anything besides a sears catalog bra section.
Funny
hello i have a HUGE question. I just recently built my first gaming pc and i have a intel core i3 at 3.2 ghz, 4gb of corsair vengence ram a corsair cx430 modular psu, a standard atx motherboard , a 1tb wd hdd, and a evga gt620. can i run bf4 with this build because im trying to decide if this build is strong enough thank you
How do you think an AMD phenom x4 965 and gtx 580 will perform with bf4?
you’ll be fine. Close to max settings 1080p
i be able to max the game my specs intel core i7 3770k 4.2ghz asus HD 7970 3GBvram 16GB 1866 speed i should max this out easy 1920×1080
I have:
Windows 8
Intelcore i5 CPU 3.10GHz
AMD radeon HD 7870
16gb ram
1tb harddrive
Can i run this game with ultra quality?
Hey how well can i play with Powercooler radeon 7850 1gb 4gb ddr3 1600mhz ram and 4.1 ghz Duelcore ?
you should be thinking of upgrading your rig you goin to see the age of it when new games come out with more powerful engines i see the 580 has 512 cores you should upgrade it you be playing mediam to low settings i have the hd 7970 3GB 2048cores il max it out easy
580 is based on the Fermi architecture therefore its 2.3X faster core to core with a 600 or 700 series NVidia card (but the later have up to 2600+ cores (780)) and an NVidia card is faster clock for clock and core for core than any Radeon card, performance isn’t AMD’s forte. look at their FX CPUs, they are embarrassing. the 8350 gets dominated by an Intel core i7 4770k which has half the core count and a much lower clock speed and about 1/2 – 1/3 the power draw.
well thats actually not the case amds processor is not meant to be compared with the 4770k being that it is nearly half the price and even though the intel is 4 cores it uses hyperthreading making it 8 hypothetical cores quit being a fanboy also it beats most instel processors in the event you stream. Also amd gpus are better at things like rendering with open CL.
Wonder if my i3-2100 will run this
You will probably bottle neck.
What do you mean bottleneck?
He means the processor will be the limiting component in the system (it will force the game to lower qualities)
I’ve maxed BF3 out with AMD FX-4170 quad core 4.2 GHz and EVGA GeForce 650 1GB 1.07 core clock.
Thank god.. I was worried I’d have issues with my FX6300 + 7870xt setup.
Really? At what resolution, because you certainly haven’t maxed it out at 1080p with playable frame rates.
No, no you haven’t.
I can run BF3 at ultra at 50 – 70 fps with an FX – 4170 @ 4.2ghz and a 7870 2gb, and I can run BF4 at high settings at 1080p at about 120 fps, he should be fine XD
Hey I have an AMD 8 core….and the video card is 2gig Radeon 6970….I could max out on BF3 ultra but only got like 55 to 60 frames a second….Should I buy a new card?
I would buy a new card like an Radeon 7790OC like 150 dollar+-
No, you shouldn’t the 6970 is way stronger than a 7790 even though the series is different it doesn’t change the fact that the 6970 is like a 7970 in the 7000 series but the performance is different in that case.
Im getting the Sapphire Dualx OC verison with GDDR5 3GB, its on amazon US for 89€(sales) or UK 151€. or 151$ and 131£ accordingly, so dont go for any 77 series nor 78’s go for the new one, its same price but gives you about more 15 fps in Bf3(average benchmark numbers)
amd athlon II x4 635 (3.2Ghz quad-core)
16GB ram DDR3
sapphire radeon hd 6850
can I run on high? or medium at least?
LOL 7850 card , I’ll max this with 7970 16 gigs corsair vengeance i7 3770k. I have a gts 450 lying around IF the new batman has interesting physX
I have the following..
AMD FX 8350 Vishera OC’d to 4.2 Ghz
8Gb DDR3 1666
2x XFX Radeon 7770 Ghz DD Editions in crossfire
850w PSU..
Good enough to run on high to ultra?I can run Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3 on Ultimate on just 1 of those cards.
I have similar setup…only I’m at 4.6ghz on the OC and 16gb of 1866mhz ram…and 2 x xfx7950. Can I run on Ultra? Yes. But the frames suffer at 1080p. I normally play on High and the game runs great. 70fps plus on average maps and higher on cqb maps.
Is that why people are maxing out the beta on 2GB cards on 1920 x 1080 displays….for instance the 2GB 670 is performing with everything maxed.
odds are they dumbed down the GFX for the beta like they did with BF3. I maxxed bf3 beta with my 6770 and got 45-55 FPS
My Setup
///////////////
3570k @4.2GHz
2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
7950 Vapor-X Boost @950MHz
Maxed Out -/+ 60 FPS 1080p for sure ^^
Lul, you’re a tart. Ready your terrible explanation for what works with which games was hilarious.
Seems a lot of bullshit going on around here, im still rocking a Q6600 Core2quad at stock speeds of 2.4gig, a old 8800GTX 768meg of vram, 6gig corsair vengeance @2100mhz
I run Bf3 on ultra settings, the only i miss out on is the DX11 capability, but im still getting a decent 58fps with 1080 res.
The older hardware can still handle it due to the fact its still designed for console first then ported to the PC.
Though i will be upgrading my graphics card now the new nvidia 700 series has landed and the newer next gen consoles are due to be released, i expect games to now start testing my system.
The only current game i wasnt able to run was crysis 3, but that was more to do with crytek and direct x11 code, than the fact my PC wouldnt of ran it at decent frame rates had it been direct x10.
No you’re not, why spread such mis-information? I’m running a Q6600 @ 3Ghz with a GTX295 and there is no way you are running at a constant 58fps. You might peak at that….
I run bf3 maxed out on a phenom x2 940 quad core and radon hd4850 12gb ddr2 with no problem. Too much bs on here
The xfx 6870 2GB will run BF3 on ultra at like 50 fps but i had a weak cpu and powersource. One 6870 2GB ran the game at 30 fps on ultra at 1080P. My one 7850 2G upgrade runs the game in multiplayer at 50-60 fps on High settings. On ultra settings it runs at 40 fps very smoothly with x2 AA.
The first benchmarks was for crossfire.
BF3 runs fine on medium with a high end duel core and an AMD 6870 and 4gb ram , easy. So id say BF4 will be similar
Hey man, im getting the Sapphire 7970 OC version, just to run this at a good frame rate at about medium-low graphics (my priority is the FPS i got everything in low only Mesh Quality in High and explosion FX in medium for BF3) and i get about 40 FPS in CQC maps and more vehicle and Shit going boom maps 30-35 fps, i got the I52350?mabey, not sure but it starts with 23.
its on amazon at around 150€
you think il be able to run the game smoothly?
yea u can run it at decent frame at max setting but upgrade ur ram and cpu if u can to get more nice fps
7870 will run 720p high settings or even med settings this a whole new engine need more power the 7990 run this game at 72fps my 7970 my run it maxed 1080p 30-40fps
Windows 8 dosent work with it O.o
Daniel WhiteBurst in yer face:
Your a fukin Moron i play BF3 with a AMD FX 6100 and a GTX 650 Ti 1GB ram on max settings. and it runs flawless. Quit talkin smack about shit you dont know. BF4 should be around the same requirments. Not all of us have a Mommy that buys PC upgrades like your Mom does stick with the facts Duchebag..
I hear an AMD FANBOY
atleast 6gb DDR3 or 8gb DDR2….BF EXPERT or BS EXPERT
Hey bro ive maxed out battlefield 3 at about 60 fps at ultra settings with my i7 quad core 4ghz, 16gb ram and an nvidia 650ti oc version and its cool
Do you think a MBP 2011 15 inch (Early) will even run this game on low? (I have 8GB RAM but I use Windows 32-bit)
In your first paragraph I have no idea what your saying. “lol no but seriously everyone calm down and thing thats a quad core will hand this game paired with a decent gpu”. What does this mean?
Nerds….
I was looking at a7770 then the 7790 came out, looks like i’ll just wait it out till prices fall even more. Part that sucks is i need a PSU…
if your gonna get a 7790 might aswell get an xbox one
“get an xbox one”
HAHAHAHAHAHA
PS4 FOR LIFE
LOL there is a big difference between using a 7790 in you computer and Xbox One, the Xbox one use codes only for its components meaning it will be optimized and quite bit faster, that’s why the current xbox can run modern games at low settings. A 7790 in you computer, you will be lucky to get 60 FPS on high at 1600 x 900 , if that
an xbox 360 runs games on “optimally lowest quality”, an xbox one is gonna be a piece of shit. get a 7850 or better (nvidia) or buy a ps4. xbone if ur a commy ass pirate.
can i run battlefield 4 with this
intel i7 3770k 3.80ghz
16 gb ddr3 ram
geforge 560 gtx ti 1024 mb
i hope so
can this handle bf4
water coolling
intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition 5.5ghz
GTX TITAN GPU x2
64 gb ram
on highest settings and 4k display
most definitely not ur gonna need at least an ASUS Z9PE-D8 mainboard with another Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition to be able to run it but i would also recommend getting quad-sli titans just to be sure cheerz
Some people just wanna brag with their rig
but i agree get another cpu and 2 more Titans and you can run it at medium with 30 fps
The best answe there :DDDDDDDDD
will it work on my dell xps 15 with 6gb ddr3 intel i5 and geforce gt540m
Surely an i3 will be able to run it at high settings its not like the game uses more than 2 cores
I got a:
Intel i7 quat core at 2gh and 3.2 boost hyper tread
And 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7730M
Windows 8
8gb ddr3
Will it run on maxxxx fps
Battlefield does NOT require the largest, most awesome, state of the art PC. BF3 runs on medium graphics at1920x1080 on an AMD 6870,, 4Gb ram and an Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0Ghz and probably will be the same in BF4, so if a 2006 PC can run the damn thing. ARMA 3 and Rome total War 2 requires tougher hardware.
Guys! Do you think ATI radeon HD 5800 wi run bf4?
how do you think it will run on i5 4670 4gbx2 ram and gtx770?
because i heard because of the 2gb vram it will be abit slow on bf4 when you’re on a big map with 64 players.
is it true or bullshit?
I wonder if my rig will run this. Please Someone tell me: i5 3570k oc’ed 4.3Ghz
with a N520 Coolermaster, 16 Gb DDR3 Ripjaws, P8Z77-v lk MotherBoard with a Gigabyte GTX 770 4Gb DDR5 OC’ed Edition and a Corsair TX650 PSU with a Zion XON-bk
Sorry for the typo, case is a Zion-ZON-980-bk Tower
can i run battlefield 4 on medium to high with EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2048MB GDDR graphics card and a AMD FX-4130 quad core processor with 3.8 GHz.
Well, I think my GT 430 won’t handle it :c
LOL Not at all.
i got a I5 2350
a Nvidia GT530 with some minor OC to 860MgHZ tht sux i know
im thinking about getting the 7970 shapphire OC version–http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1157&pid=1463&lid=1
will that run the game at medium with 45-50 fps?
SOME one said that it will run on gt600 series
BUt all gt600 seriesss are rebranded gt500series graphic cards
so you should be able to run the game at 50-60 frames at med graphics
Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66GHz
4 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 2GB
Windows 7
I wish it will run smoothly on mine.
Get that ram to 8gb and upgrade to a 660 TI, 7870 GHz Ed. or a 7950.
Also put a aftermarket cooler like a nice Zalman or a Coolermaster and OC that cpu a bit.
Then you should be able to get around high unless you’re willing to build a whole new pc.
Hope this was helpfull.
I’ve already asked this question, but do You think ATI Radeon HD 5870 will handle it just for normal settings? Thanks for help.
I have AMD Radeon 6670, 4 GB VRAM. Hope it will work.
Will a windows Vista HOME BASCIC run this game on super low settings?
another thing im getting the ACER 7 chromebook later this year whcih it has a better graphics card and more ram etc will that work then?
It seems unlikely that system will run this game at all. At low settings you will probably get a lagging experience
Chromebook runs on Chrome OS, which runs on Linux core. As far as I know, Linux is not supported for gaming at all… hope that helped
me toooo gtx 670 4gb
would i be able to run it ? pls tell me because i want to buy it
Intel G630
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GT 630
No way mate! get a better pc :L
FX-8350 4.0Ghz
8GB ram 1600MHz
Radeon 7950 3GB?????????????
I have the following..
AMD FX 8350 Vishera OC’d to 4.2 Ghz
8Gb DDR3 1666
2x XFX Radeon 7770 Ghz DD Editions in crossfire
850w PSU..
Good enough to run on high to ultra?I can run Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3 on Ultimate on just 1 of those cards.
A Nvidia GT 630?
Not a Chance, does that even run BF3 on Medium just asking?
I had a GT630 and i could run BF3 @ Low on 1080p on 30fps
So maybe, using a lower resolution, they could get bf3 on mid
i got the GT530 at 1024xsomething i can run at 35ish fps all on low exept Mesh-high
Explosions-medium
AA-x2
You will be able to run this game at 720p with antialsing disabled and shadows on low with motion blur off and lighting on low with ambient occlusion off and everything at medium with a constant 50fps and the game will look better than the new console’s and will look amazing still.
I hope my Crossfired ASUS HD7970 DCUII will handle it..
xDD
absolutly it will xD one of the best cards out there at the time ;D
Unless you’re using a Celeron, you’ll be fine xD
Hi ChildOfBodom/or whoever knows this!
What will i get out of this setup:
i7-2600k @ 3,4GHz
Gainward GeForce GTX 580 1536MB GDDR5
8 GB RAM
750W power supply
If this only runs low/meduim, what would you recomend that I change about my setup?
Ty for any answers!
Yeah, you’ll be fine on high-ultra, depending on your resolution.
your rigg will run this game goood on high resolution because your card has high pixel rate that means it can run higher resolutions better than other.
FX-6300 @ 3.5 GHz
8 GB 1333 MHz(2x4gb)
GTX 650 TI
/
Dude, crazy weird.
That’s my exact setup. Haha!
You’d be sticking around medium. You might be able to get high on a decent frame rate though.
What about me, maxed out
gtx 770 oc
fx 8320 @ 4.5
4gb of ram
verry funny
Im not trolling im honestly scared if my new rigg can stand bf4 maxed! You think it wouldnt be a prob? Becouse im running Crysis 3 maxed and on FXAA on 57 fps avg. who knows if bf4 will be even nicely optimized for nvidia cards becouse amd and ea are partners now
I would upgrade the RAM to 8 GB or more and get it a 1666 mhz or higher. You will be able to run it.
im happy i m going to buy a new pc on the 18th this month
So yeah i can build my pc that this will be easy to handle xD
What’s your budget? I’d like to recommend some parts.
You seem to know a lot about this. So my question is will it run on this:
Intel Core i3-3220, 8GB DDR3, VGA 2GB AMD Radeon HD7750 DVI
It should but not very well with the i3. Get an i5 k edition. It’s like 100 bucks more but worth it.
I agree Core i5 for this setup. 3570k or 4670k depending on how much you can spend. Now i am an Nvidia fan
so i would get a 750ti when it comes out or settle on a 650ti/boost, i recon it will be around 50% more expensive than amd 7750 but you will get the PhysX support. i know BF4 will not natively support PhysX, but the Physics calculations can benefit from PhysX. AMD just payed EA a lot of money to get their name on the back of the cover, the game does use a lot of physics calculations when rubble comes flying
Sorry but no, the game will not benefit from PhysX. PhysX is a great technology but it doesn’t benefit any piece of software that is not coded to use it, furthermore any piece of software that is coded using PhysX will use the engine, that’s how consoles use it (although this pure software PhysX is not nearly as impressive as it is when hardware supports it). For the next ~6 years AMD will be the better choice for gaming if only because games will be written with AMD gpus in mind (all consoles use AMD gpus) and thus tweaked to this chips, well be seeing less PhysX games during this generation unless one or two studios use the technology in a way that really sets apart the PC versions of their games when played on a Nvidia gpu that supports PhysX.
Seems like they are pushing the envelope, good for those who wish to play on ultra and be satisfied with 50-60 fps. As always, when dice pushes the envelope optimization is thrown out of the window and cool shadows, lightings and effects are priority, either which nobody cares about or which are not noticeable.
Not so good for those who play competitively and want to maintain 100 + fps on full hd.
Most people won’t see the difference on ultra and high shadows, lighting and particles, and that is a part that really sucks the juice out of you VGA card. But those guys with expensive monitors will be happy to max their SLI/CF setups out, and i love to see what my rig can achieve in fps, either at 5760×1080 or 2560×1440
Hey guys I juts wanna know if my laptop runs this game, because as i saw in may places it says minimum system requirement is quad core.
my configuration is Sony VAIO VPCSE17GG
1) Intel Core i7 2640M Dual core 2.8Ghz(4 threads, 2 for each core), turbo – 3.5Ghz.
2) AMD Radeon HD 6630 1Gb
3) 4 GB DDR3 1033 or 1333 MHz RAM.
4) 64bit OS with Direct X 11
you can reply to me harshanet88 at Gmail dot com
Thanks
can i get ultra off this
FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz
8gbs ram
gtx 660 super clocked 2gb
windows 7
550w supply
no…
High would be possible.
I managed to play BF3 on high with a Phenom II X4 and a 6770.
That was my old setup though.
Should be fine if you run it at 640*480….
You will be able to run this. Medium-high at least. I wouldn’t count on Ultra on anything over 1280×720
Will i be able to run this with these components ?
1GB XFX Radeon HD 7770
Intel Pentium G850, Socket 1155, Dual Core, 2.90GHz
LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x DVD±R
Fractal Design Core 1000
500W Storm Silent LPJ19-25
MSI H61M-P31 (G3) Motherboard
4GB Corsair Value DDR3 PC3-10600 (1333)
500GB Seagate ST500DM002 Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s, 7200rpm
Windows 7 64BIT Professional
Thanks in advance
Your CPU is the bottleneck mate.
You’d need at least a quad core.
I’d recommend getting an i5 3570K since you have an 1155 board.
Update CPU to core i5-2500k since you are running a H61 Chipset you won’t be able to use the 3570k’s utilities, but 2500k is still a very good CPU, I had mine overclocked to 4.7 ghz at 50 degrees with aircooling. And anyhow, you need to update the BIOS if you are at release BIOS to even be abe to boot, but 2500k is fully supported and a serious good CPU (i beats Core i7-2600k in most games). And get yourself some 8 gb 1600 mhz RAM, the brand doesn’t count too much anymore, but Corsair, G.Skill, Mushkin, Hynix, Kingston, the well known brands are allways a good way to go
Also does this say that it is recommended that if you have a 64 bitoperating system that you have 8 gb of RAM?
If you’re planning on gaming on PC for a while, I’d recommend at least 8GB or more.
on a 64 bit machine your ram will fill up during games if you have 4gb, you can trust me on that.
Acer Core 2 Duo Ghz 2.20 3gb ram 120 hard with gigabyte geforce 210 1gb ddr3 Can i Run IT?
probably yes with 15 fps
Sorry mate, but that’s gonna be a no. unless BF4 manages to make a super low gaming profile.
they says that ho can run bf3 he can run bf4 but they make lettel defrance in graphics
– gt430 2gb
-4gb ram
-Core 2 Duo Ghz 3.00GHz E6780
I’d say this is a minimum, So Rock RiTik’s specs will be far to low. Sorry mate. Cheapest way is getting a PS4 or XBOX One. A new gaming rig can be very pricey. And the game is designed for consoles with gamepads anyway, keybaord/mouse is a solution the pc gamer wants and not something they design First-Person-Shooter games for (you can hook a keyboard and mouse up to consoles btw
)
AMD FX-6300 3.5GHZ
RADEON 7850 2GB
8GB RAM
please someone tell me what i can get with this
You will definitely be able to run this on Med. to high settings on around 40-60fps, maybe ultra
Agreed with Kiba. You’ll be able to easily play on medium and high around 40 – 60 fps, maybe more (depending on what type card it is and how high it’s clocked).

You should probably upgrade your graphics card before playing bf4
but it’s still possible you use a special card that connects to the laptop and to your graphic card its possible
It’s possible with Thunderbolt and i doubt this notebook has Thunderbolt capability. The USB/PCMCIA solutions are for extra outputs only and don’t boost your graphics performance.
Gigabyte radeon 7970 ghz , asus saber tooth 990fx , corsair vengeance 16gb (2x8gb) , western digital caviar black , amd 8350 clocked at 4.3 ,windows 7 home premium with this run it ?
I have a similar setup. (Only I have the 7950)
You’ll be fine. trust me. If I can run BF3 on ultra with 150fps than you’ll be fine with your 7970. The engine is pretty much the same of BF4.

Good enough for Medium on 60FPS?
I’m not too sure about medium 60FPS, but I’m pretty sure it can handle low 60FPS.
I would get a Discrete Graphics card, GTX 650ti boost or AMD HD 7770, and you will be able to really enjoy this game on High with 60 fps
can my 2 gtx 680 and my 32 gigram do this 4.6ghz
If you knew what CPU it was that’d be great. ;P
I doubt you’re running and Core i3 or AMD Athlon dual core here. If you are running 4 cores or more, you will be fine
2x GTX Titan SLI and a 3930k.
10 FPS?
Probably more like 8 fps if you ask me ;P
(Very nice setup btw.)
can i run it
core 2 qx6700 @3.2
6gb ddr2 800
and a evga gtx480
yes, on medium, considering your aging gpu and cpu. i hope my HD 7850 @1ghz and 3570 will be able to max it out on 1080p (with MSAA off of course, i have radeonpro for my anti aliasing anyway).
@ john: yeah, reduce the settings and it will run fine. You can’t really upgrade either without bottlenecking the other, so a upgrade would probably mean, Motherboard, CPU, Ram, GFX, and perhaps optical drives and HDD if you are still using some IDE devices.
i would say you would allways stay above 30 fps and avg around 50-60 with the AA settings you mentioned.
@ gilang: You will be able to run Ultra here if your 1080p is not 5760 the other way
how much does your pc costs?
My guess is around $5000, but this is a joke. No one has an SLI of two Titans. Its absurd. One Titan handles everything and then some.
Actualy my boss has 3 Titans in his main rig with a 3970x cpu, but he has too much money and no wife :-P. And the company’s rig him and me share for our work has 4 x Nvidia Quadro K5000 and 2 x XEON 4610, When we have no work for the computer we see how much fps it can chuck out in different games, but it’s very rare the computer is not calculating some terabytes of data.
Is my laptop gonna be able to play it????
Intel® 3rd Generation Core™ i5

Yes, at least on low/medium settings.
If your laptop runs at 1280×800 or 1366×960 or something like that, you should run High finde, but 1080p would reduced to Medium i think
i wish lol..

I pressume you have some sort of a powerhouse of a Core i7 extreme or Xeon CPU in that rig. And then yes. If you are running a low end dual core, you will be dissapointed.

Can these specs run it well?
AMD A10-5800k Quad/3.8Ghz
AMD HD7660d int. APU

Thanks
Get a Radeon HD6670 card for about $80 and run that APU in dual graphics mode. The performance will be similar to a single 7850 card with your A10-5800k. I have an A8-5600k myself.
Yes you will. But i will agree with donald, either 1 new beast gfx or another similar perfomance, but don’t go 6670, go with a 7750 so you have the same technologies, the prices are pretty similar and 7750 wins on many points and will be a great boost.
i got Dual Core 3ghz
Nvidia Gts 450 palit 1gb
4gb ram can i run battlefield 4? i play bf3 on ultra?
I don’t think that can play BF3 on ultra… more like medium… or low.
i have been thinking of getting a new GPU and wondering if a Sapphire Radeon HD7970 would be enough for BF4 and if my CPU is acceptable also AMD FX 6100 3,3GHz
The 7970 is the second single best GPU in the world (besides the new 700 series cards) You will probably max it out at 1080p in ultra. Your CPU is ok but if you wanted to upgrade, get the FX – 8350.
I must disagree with Alex
the 7970 comes below the gtx 680 in many ways, but only just, the 7970 Ghz edition is the just above the gtx 680, the gtx 780 comes 50% faster than gtx 680 and just below Titan, and overclocked GTX 780 Beats a Titan in most single monitor setups. When you start to run high res gaming or surround gaming the Titan has the edge, but just above the gtx 780. BUT the 7970 is still a damn good card.

Medium/high.
I’d recommend a GPU upgrade. a 660ti, 7870GHz Ed or a 7950.
Other than that, solid setup.
so what setting/fps will i get with i5 3570k, 660Ti, 8GB ram?
At ultra settings I predict you will get in the 50fps range.
Agree with Childofbodom, You can allso buy a second gtx 560ti which will beat a single 660ti with many lengths and come really close to gtx 680
I have no idea how to delete my previous comments but please reply to this one.

I can run battlefield 3 and black ops 2 quite smoothly.
please reply at stino0809@gmail.com
Yes If you run bf3 it’s barly the same engine
A processor Fx 8350 will take account of this game?
For Battlefield, I’d take a 8350 over a 3570K due to the more cores/threads and overclocking capabilities. And since BF3 uses all the cores you have I’d say go for the 8350 with BF4.
The 3570K is better at single threaded programs/games but on this one, go for the more cores.
I have an i7 3770K, by extra core performance do you think hyper threading will do the job good or better then the 8350?
The i7 is better in any fields but it’s not really in the same price range. So for 300,- I’d go 3770K.
Edit:
I’d go 4770K
That CPU will be gold for the game, More and more games start to use all threads of a core instead of only the primary thread, so you should see all your threads sharing the workload, and it will probably beat the AMD 8350 with some lengths, but not by a landslide.
AMD Oc to 4.2Ghz (4 cores)

i7 3770k@4.5Ghz, 16gb G.Skill 1600mhz ram, Gigabyte HD 7870 2gb OC crossfire and 700w psu. Should be sweet
With:
Intel i7 4.1 – 4.6 turbo (8 cores)
Nvidia gtx 660 Ti 2Gb x 2
24 RAM
should be good
You’ll be fine for High.
And that i7 is a quad core with 8 threads. I know the device manager will see it as 8 cores but It’s just a quad. there are no 8 core i7’s on the market yet.
Noticed you have helped others, what will i get with this?

You should be able to run 1080p on high/ultra with very decent framerates. My company is getting some physics tests to do in the next couple of months and we have 20 testbenchs, it will not be BF4 since Dice is doing the tests themselves but it’s a very similar engine and game requirements.
And i am sorry, but i can’t tell you the name of the game at the present time

Damn, i hope im able to run it lol, my pc has Intel core i5- 3210m, 6GB ram, Geforce 610m 2GB. im able to run bf3 in a mix between medium/High while things like smoke has to be low lol,, so if im lucky i might be able to run bf4 in low/medium if im lucky, with low fps lol xD omfg,, also keeping a pc updated on hardware is way to expensive, lok especially when i do not have a job lol xD
Your rig can’t run bf3 more than 60 fps, I had your same laptop but then with a i7 2670qm and I can assure you that buying a cheap desktop even with a a10 5800k will make a world of a difference, I thought my laptop was great until I upgraded to a desktop with a i3 3220 and a gt640 I can assure you you will be so much more satisfied even with cheaper hard ware. You’d be able to play with any of those but depending on which of the 3 you might be able to play on high or ultra. What’s your CPU?
Hi , i think its 6990 and my CPU is AMD Fx 6100 six-core
You’re fine for high I guess. since it’s the highest 6xxx version out there.
Might even get Ultra at a playable framerate.

Depending on your CPU but yes, you’ll be able to run it just fine.
If that CPU is a Intel Core-i7 3770 3.4 GHz (8MB cache) w/hyper-threading and Turbo boost 2.0, will that work? Medium/High?
Yes, im gonna say it’ll run at high at around 50 fps

i5 _ 3,4 GHz 4 cores, hd7670 2gb, 8gb RAM. 500 watt No Name.
In the next month i want to buy a GTX 660 ti. Will The 500 watt run The GTX 660.
My other question is, will bf4 run sich the hd7670.?
500 watt should be fine, my rig is heavily overclocked with an HD 7870 and an i5-3750k, all of that is run off my 500 watt PSU. However, mine is a Corsair CX500 80+ bronze with 500 continuous watts, if your PSU is some basic 500 watt model it might not actually put out 500 continuous watts, and then you might run into problems.
BF4 will run on an HD 7670 but probably only medium settings. The GTX 660ti will definitely run it at high to ultra.

Guys what specs are important for gaming? Im debating whether i should buy bf4 for my laptop, current xbox 360, or another option. If i am correct my laptop is AMD Dual-Core A6-4400 M Accelerated Processor (2.7 GHz, 1 MB L2 Cache), 6 GB DDR3 System Memory at 1600 MHz (4 GB x 1 + 2 GB x 1), 2 DIMM Slots, AMD Radeon™ Graphics (Int. I want to play BF3/4 and I’m looking to buy a new PC but I have not looked at specs in years. I used to play BF2 but I have XP and my sys is outdated. Can anyone recommend a config that is in a decent price range? I have about 1000-1500 bucks to spend.
Intel Core i7 3770k or an AMD FX 8350
AMD HD 7970 or an Nvidia GTX 680
16GB DDR3-1866 RAM
Spend at least $150 on a good AM3+ or LGA 1155 motherboard
At least a 120GB Solid State Drive
And just pick what case and power supply you want.
Please note that the next-gen Haswell Intel i7-4xxx series CPUs are to be released in June/July, if you go Intel you might want to wait till then.
WIll this config work for BF4:
12GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz – 4 DIMMs
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3770 processor (up to 3.90 GHz)
16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW), write to CD/DVD
2TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive 6.0 Gb/s
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 640 1GB GDDR5
Is that processor quad core?
Is 1G enough on the video card?
Do you think this might handle the job:
i7 2670qm 2.2GHZ
gt 550m 2gb vram
4gb
AMD FX 6100, 8gb HYPER X1600mhz DDR3 Ram, MSI Radeon HD R7770 Power Edition, 26 Inch Asus Full 1080p HD Monitor
Good for BF4 ?
Med/High, your GPU is what’s holding you back.
Here’s my setup:
Dual core i5-3230m (2.6 GHz/3.2 turbo)
6 gb Ram
Geforce gt 730m
Do I have atleast med. requirements?
You might be able to pull off med settings, but I am going to say more likely low settings. Depends on your resolution. At 1080p, I say no to med settings.
I’m gonna say you’re actually fine for medium. I have 6 gb RAM as well and an AMD A10 something or other video card and I can run bf3 at ultra on campaign and ultra on 64 players multiplayer game if I set the resolution to 720. Otherwise at the native 1366×768 or whatever I can run it on high buttery smooth. I think Matt is underestimating.
Intel i7- 2.6Ghz – 3.2 Ghz

What do you people think?
Can i handle bf4 @ auto settings?
I avrg about 40-60fps in multiplayer with 30fps being the lowest
@ auto settings, and on ultra around the same ( not to sure because i just leave it @ auto settings. Im not really a hard core gamer but i will be upgradeing very soon.
I have two 7970 in crossfire .. but they are on an AMD FX 8350
(crappy power hungry slow 8-core cpu. Really).
I have 16Gb of ram. My graphics cards bottleneck the system. Maybe
because AMD FX still uses only dual channel memory and the 7970s have
very big bus (384bit) .. in order to achieve more than 45-55 FPS on most modern (ultra settings) games I need to overclock my system to 4.5Ghz or above. I am getting 61 FPS on Metro last light on just a single monitor (ultra settings) only when I have AA set to 2X or else it drops to 45.
Will I be able to play Battlefield 4 on this AMD system on a 3 monitor setup at 50 FPS or above with just 2 7970s or I need to update (which I cant)
to an I7-3970x and a new motherboard to achieve a playable FPS on 3 monitors on Ultra High settings ?
Uhmm… What motherboard do you have? Those are PCI-E 3.0 cards… if you don’t have PCI-E 3.0 MoBo, you won’t get all the speed from those cards. A buddy of mine runs a single 680 on an i7-2600k and runs last light one step below the max, averaging 50FPS, occasional drop to 35ish, with the rare stutter down to 13 for a sec or so. Use CPU-Z and hmu on skype. add the skype moniker of Squish8294 and message me, referencing bf4central and I’ll help you guys figure it out. This goes for anyone.
Can I play BF4 w/this config:
12GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz – 4 DIMMs
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3770 processor (up to 3.90 GHz)
16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW), write to CD/DVD
2TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive 6.0 Gb/s
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 640 1GB GDDR5
Need a better video card man, like a GTX 650ti or a GTX 660.
Don’t listen to him, he’s a clown. Although yes, it wouldn’t hurt to have a better card, you won’t NEED it to play BF4, though I heavily recommend it.
Your GFX card is a bit behind in the equation. But on medium settings you can run it. Upgrading to a GTX 760 ti will dramatically increase your performance
Fx 8350

Gtx ftw 660 sig2 sc
Thoughts?
Should be able to run, perhaps on high-ultra.
All I want is 60 fps on any setting. Should I upgrade my Gpu and would faster ram such as 1600 be better. I think this processor might do the trick. I rebuilt this to play bf3 and now I’ll have to upgrade again?
i-7 920 @ 2.7

If you’re worried about fps, ramdisk 6-8gb of your ram to start with, chances are that will remove the need for a gpu upgrade.
For starters, you can overclock that i7 if it’s an unlocked model. The 920 series were one of the most overclocking capable CPU’s released, even by today’s standards. The nvidia 5-series GTX was a joke, upgrade your GPU to a 6 series nvidia, or 69xx or a 79xx AMD card… probably a ram upgrade of the same size, with a higher freq if your CPU supports it.
I maxxed out BF3 @1080p around 60-70fps, with a;

6GB DDR2 @800MHz
GTX 580 @Stock
The system requirements are never really that accurate. .

You’re fine.
Hi guys,
I want to but/build a new PC solely for gaming and more specifically for BF4!
I have been playing consoles my whole life but the Xbox 1 and PS4 seem to be going into the pansy-console direction so I want to adopt PC gaming.
I’m very new to most of the components and parts, so can anyone recommend me some good parts to buy in order to build a capable PC. Budget would be around £1,000.
Will this config be enough for BF4?
3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3770 processor 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.90 GHz

Yes it will. i take it the rams are 1600 mhz or over?
My Zotac GTX650 Ti,AMD Fx 8350 and 16GB ram can run it on ultra settings

Nope, not in hight/ultra, maybe in normal of low…
you can run it at low-medium but i think you will be limited to 1280×800 res.
I have a laptop Dell Inspiron N7110

Will i be able to run it?
Appreciate the answer
Barely.

I’m pretty sure this will run run it, but how well?
If laptop, medium-high, if desktop, overclock CPU to at least 3 ghz and high for sure.
Do you think a i5 3470 with a GTX 560ti and 8Gb RAM will be good for this game?
Sorry for my English but I’m French ^^
You will be able to run it at least medium-high settings, and your English is better than most Americans I know. Stop apologizing. You’re only missing the very fine points of english grammar. It’s actually very good.
Around high settings i should think. Think about upgrading in the near future
QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 945 stock 3.0gHz OC 3.7gHz stable
6GB ddr2 1066 6-6-6-24
Geforce 650 Ti Boost 2GB DDR5 192 bit
What do you think? Close to ultra?
RAM timings are nice and tight, but the frequency could stand a boost. other than that, at least high.
Hey guys
How about an i5 3570K, 3GB Radeon HD 7970, 8GB memory? I was considering crossfire for when it comes out. Do you think I’ll need it for max settings?
Doubt it. You’d be playable on ultra if that CPU is overclocked. Most definitely high on stock settings.
You think AMD FX 8350,Zotac 650Ti’16GB RAM will run it on ultra

I am trying to decide whether to go with the Sapphire 7970 GHZ Edition 6GB or two Crossfired 7950s. Which would I get the better performance out of. I leaning really hard towards the 7970.
a single GPU card is better than crossfire/SLI. The why? Google Micro-Stuttering as well as frame-time. You’ll see why.
Can anybody tell me if I can run BF4 with this set up.

Would a Radeon 6850 1gb ddr5 , with a i5-3470 be able to run bf4 at all ?
If not any recommendations for a good GPU under $260?
I wonder if I can get 45-60fps on high-ultra at 720p/1080p with this specs:

GPU: sapphire radeon hd7850 2gb

or should I invest in a 7870?? (this is my wishlist 4 my new PC).. and sorry in case of bad english..
Go for a Unlocked i5, its not much more but gives you a lot more potential performance, and a 7850 should be fine.
I have a win7 64-bit system but only 4gb ram
Would I be able to run anyway?
and
I have radeon HD 5650 1gb
Would that be enough for just normal settings?

It can probably run it on Medium/Low settings.
Do you think my nividia gefore 240 gt can run the game got i5 not really good at pc thinks but 3,5 gb ram free space enough for game

High for sure.
Will my EVGA 460 GTX WTF version run it?
Depends on the cpu.
But the 460 can still handle today’s games very well.
I’m not saying that you will max out the game but around medium you’ll be good I think, but again, it depends on you’re cpu.
i7 950 8GB DDR3 dominator ram, that card 460 WTF is last OC’d version.. think it does same as 570 GTX. should run on MEDIUM just fine? i dont stress it alot at all.
Please note that the AMD FX 9650 (Steamroller) will come this year.
A very good option to take in mind if you want to upgrade your cpu.
Just wait a couple more months, I think it will be worth it.
Pair this with a 7950 or 7970 and you’re ready to go. But GTX 760 or HD 7870 will also be a good choice I think.
Will i run at decend fps ?
my setup

Can i run bf4 with around 40 fps ?

it will depend in your screen resolution. higher size, lower FPS.
what other resolutions do you guys recommend? Not anything like 800×600, but NEAR Full HD
will I be fine with the radeon 6770 and I5 quad core?? please respond…
of course

GTX 580
What settings can I run this on in 1080p?
Sure, On High at least in 60-70 fps, im sure youll able to play it on ultra on 60 fps
Will I be able to play this?
I’m figuring this will be close to Battlefront 3, which is what I really want.
I don’t need high settings, just low so I can play. I’m not picky.
Dell XPS 15 L502x
Intel Core i5-2450M @2.50 GHz Quad (There’s 4 little chips in device manager. I’m clearly not very good at this. xD)
8GB RAM
1GB Nvidia GEForce GT 525m
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
A metric f%#kton of HDD space left
A whole lot of love
What’s my limiting agent? Cuz I can trash the love bulls#!t if necessary.
Thanks!
4 Chips in device manager means your CPU is a Quad-Core.
Your Graphics card may handle the game although in medium settings. and your RAM’s good to go. CPU Meets the minimum spec
I thought so. Thanks so much! And thanks for the checkmark on my rig. Medium will do me just fine. I’ll probably even stick to low anyway to maximize FPS.
Windows 7-32 bit shall handle the game or not?
AMD Fx-8120 3.1 mhz
Xfx R7970 DD 3gb Oced 1100 – 1500mhz

ill be able to run this on ultra??. In Battlefield 3 I get 40 – 70 fps multiplayer
Can I run Battlefield 4 on ULTRA?!
AMD FX X8 8350, s. AM3+, 4.0GHz, Eight Core

i got and old laptop and new. but i want to try BF4 on old laptop first with i5, 8GB ram and nvidia 610m 2GB spec. last try on BF3 it can run high setting with 25 fps. but bf4? dunno
Maybe drop the resolution to 1280×720 and high on BF4, that could work for 50 fps but in full resolution maybe low for playable frame rates
Wondering if anyone can help me with some recommendations? I’m looking to build a new system for bf4 on higher ultra if possible but want to stay within a budget of $1000-$1200. Please help, all suggestions would be apreciated
can my pc maybe run medium at 60fps

Thanks.
At about 50-60 FPS would be nice.
I’m wondering if I should buy the “Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz Socket LGA 1155 Boxed Processor” and the “02G-P4-2662-KR NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Superclocked 2048MB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card” for a gaming rig. They are sold on microcenter.com. Any help?
Yup, those are totally fine for 1920×1080 in high! 3570k is the best i5, and theres not a big difference in gaming with that processor and i7. Buy 8 gb of RAM and you’ll be fine!
so will this system work well: i3 3220 ivy bridge (3.3 ghz), gtx 650 ti boost 2 gb,
and 8 gb of ram
Intel(R) HD Graphics

How about a Quad Core I3 for BF4?
Please answer!
Hi all,
Would it work on the following:
Intel Core i5-2450M CPU @ 2.5 GHz
6.00 GB Ram
64 Bit operating system
Windows 7
1TB Hard Disk
I have an Intel HD Graphics Card
I’m not sure if this is relevant but it says current display mode: 1366 x 768 (32Bit) (60Hz)
I’m new to all this , thanks.
Yea, you should be able to play at a decent quality… as soon as you buy a graphics card.
Intel HD Graphics wont run any games, it’s only good for areo and playing HD video. The good news is the rest of your system should allow you to run the game at a decent quality.
is a geforce 660 or 660ti good enough for high gpu wise?
my pc is
AMD Athlon II X4 640

works yes or no?
System specs

Could I run BF4 at ultra settings with:
Intel i5 2500k
Dual gtx 580 SLI with 1.5 per card

hey, i just wanted to see if this could run it, most likely on ultra. on bf3 i got literally a rough 60 fps down to 40 at ultra. Could you guys give me an estimate for bf4 ultra?

-8 Gb Ram DDR3
-And as the cooler its the Hyper 212 evo, hoping to oc my cpu with this if i can!, please tell me aswell!
I will be upgrading soon to a 7970 or a 770 around august, if you guys could tell me and estimate fps for the 7850 and the 7970 Maxxed, please HELP!
I figured I will be able to play this game no problem, my system is pretty beastly for the price.
AMD FX-6300 ‘Piledriver’
12gb of G.skill RAM at 1600MHZ
GTX 670 2gb GDDR5
But I am still planning on getting another 670 for SLI, figured I’ll set my self up to be good for the next two gens of GPU’s. I’ll upgrade once a new whole refresh series of GPU’s comes out for AMD and NVidia, meaning after they’re done with the 900/9000 series, AMD and NVidia should be moving onto something else. Unless, those GPU’s are DX12 capable if DX12 comes along sometime, I’ll upgrade just for the new architecture.
Hey PC dudes! I’m working on building a PC and I would like to get your serious opinion on this for BF4. I’m a total newb to PC so any info will be greatly appreciated!

BF3 run on single player at full ultra in ~100 fps (85fps min -130 fps max)
You’re completely fine, you don’t have to worry about anything
I’m very disappointed with this bad speculation. Firstly, if it required an i5, why would it only require 2GB of RAM (They are relative in gaming)? Battlefield 3 required that with only an intel core 2 duo @ 2.4 GHz. Also, a graphics card with only 256 MB of VRAM? I’m not sure if that’s even possible on BF3.
The realistic speculation would probably look something like this:
Minimum:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66 GHz or an Athlon II x2 250 @ 3.0 GHz
RAM: 3GB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS or AMD Radeon 4850
VRAM: 512 MB (Maybe 768, but doubtful)
Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card:
Hard Drive: 20+GB
Recommended:
CPU: Any modern i5 for intel, any modern quad-core for AMD
RAM: 6GB
Video Card: GTX 650 Ti Boost 1GB, or Radeon 7790 1GB
Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card
Hard Drive: 20+GB
I was thinking about this too, thanks for posting :3

Definetly high-7870 is a good gpu and bf4 will be optimised for ati.

I’m running bf3 on a overall high settings with no fps lock , without v-sync ofc , and i’m getting a pretty stable framerate somewhere around 80-90 maybe 70 on the aftermath maps and close quarters.
Edit* Will it run bf4? Hopefully the game auto-settings will look nicer. If not i’m going to sell and rebuild.
If I can max out BF3 in 1080p with decent frame rate do think I would be able to do the same on High setting on BF4 with the following.
AMD FX-4170 Quad-Core 4.20

Yeah . That’s enough for medium Settings 1080p res.
And you can play it on high settings with 720p res.
could a FX6100 3.3ghz, a 650 ti 1gb and 8 gigs of ram run this game on med?
On 1600×900?
The minimum PC specs is:
CPU: Intel core i7 3970x or above
GPU: HD7990/ GTX Titan
RAM: 32GB 2100mhz
I RATHER BUY A PS3. More powerful only costs $400.
You can’t have both a 7990 and a Titan in the same system. Your mistake betrays your ignorance.
My setup:

Bf3 runs great on Ultra. I know I can bumo up my RAM to 12GB for $100 if I need to. Other than that, will my cards run BF4 decent?
what settings will be able to run Bf4 on with this spec: 3.5 Ghz AMD FX6300. GPU: Asus GTX 650 Ti boost OC edition. 16 GB of ram.
Will my system get 60 fps @ 2560×1600?? 3770k @ 4.6ghz…16gig ram…..sli 680 2gig version.

Will it run???
Actually, just a 32mb TNT2 should do. It might have enough VRAM to display a texture on a shoe.
If you OC the cpu and add some ram-no problem, 60fps on medium.
god damned, i hate people who has amazing pc’s and writes down it’s part to show everyone that they are very cool, even when they know that games will work just fine on their pc’s. Like this one:

Very often those are really poor and young guys whose having 12yo and pc with ge force 630gt or gtx 550 from ebay.

can I run bf4 at the lowest settings with 40-50 fps?
i have a i7-2675qm with 2.2ghz and a 1 gb 6750m radeon and 6gb ram laptop. can i run this from low to mid???
Hye guys,I got asus g46vw.
can i run this game at high setting.Seriously need answer.
i7 3630QM 2.4Ghz
4gb ddr3 ram.
2 gb gddr5 gtx 660m
and what size of ram is just great for gaming laptop?
No, not high settings. I overclocked my GT 650M GDDR5 to the level of a GTX 660M, and it wouldn’t even run BF3 on medium. You should have built a desktop: For the same price, high-max would easily be achievable.
As for your RAM question, 8GB is ideal, but remember that RAM isn’t indicative of a computer’s performance at all. What matters more in gaming is the GPU, and to a lesser extent, the CPU,
If you’re looking to upgrade within a budget I’d recommend the HD 7770 or if you’re and Nvidia type, go with something worth your time and get the 660ti as there’s no literal difference with the 670. If you want better than the 660ti for the same price, go for the Sapphire Radeon HD 7950.
Once again, it’s all opinion except for the prices.
i5 3570K stock clock
Sapphire HD7950 3GB OC edition
500W Thermaltake PSU
8GB Ram
Can I run this well?
Yes for sure you can on ultra aswell
Although I would suggest upgrading to atleast a 600w power supply as I can’t believe that with that CPU and that GPU and 500w that your pc is stable. :L
i7 2600k 3.4
580 GTX 1536mb
8gb Ram
Can I run it, if so how well?
Probably quite well, maybe on high to max settings.
almost have same setup just 16gb ram
i will maby next year upgrate to gtx 780 but it is not cheap. so
Intel i5 750 2,67Ghz (o.c. to 3,0Ghz) with Xilence 4ALL.R3 cooler

Will it run smoothly on medium – high settings?
It will definitely run smooth on medium and probably high but depending on what you set your AA to it will depend
AMD FX-4100 Quad Core @ 3.6 GHz
4 gig RAM
Geforce 550ti
How will this fare on 1650 x 1080 res?
Kind of “Meh”. You may want to look into upgrading your CPU to something like an FX 6300, since Frostbite is CPU intensive and your CPU is, quite frankly, pretty crappy. RAM may also be an issue if you only have 4GB, but that’s easy and cheap to upgrade.
The GTX 550 ti will allow medium, maybe high, settings, but you’ll need something more powerful for ultra.
It’s not looking good with these specs i’m afraid. Get at least 8 gigs of ram and upgrade the cpu as Karlzhao314 suggested. And you resolution is 1680×1050. But it’s pretty close to 1080p in terms of requirements. But you should get it on med/high with 30-40 fps i think
I have an Amd phenom II x4 960t processor with a NVidia GeForce GT 640
8GB ram
windows 7 64bit
do you think I might have to upgrade the card or will it not lag me to death.
If you run on med/high you should get a smooth run at 1080p. but witht he system you have, the GFX will be the best upgrade yes. GTX 760ti is a really good choice. Or go all in with the 770 or even 780, but now it get’s pricey. In AMD ranges, 7770, or higher price 7950 or wait for the 8000 series. With the GT 640 you should be able to wait for the next gen AMD or get the 700 series geforce.
Hi guys, will my rig be able to run this at high settings? 720p
i5-2320
8gb ddr3 ram
hd7790 1gb ddr5 oc
You should be able to push it to 1080p even. But the CPU can be a bottleneck when it comes to physics. So lighting, shadows, particles etc, should be turned a tad down, but all the rest on ultra. And you’ll get 60 fps
With one of Nvidia’s newest graphics cards and your STILL asking? .-. YES IT WILL PLAY ON MAX WITH 40+fps
I HAVE
I7 – 3.2 GHZ
16 GB OF RAM
4 GB GRAPHI CARD ….
AND I M SURE IT WILL WORK ON ULTRA
can run in the $ 1 pc, do not buy another Dice game Cheats, Cheats clan in using your serves and dice smiling with their dollars.
Can i handle it my specs are: intel core i7-2670qm, 8gb ram, 1Tb, amd radeon 7690m
No, probably not. The 7970m can barely run BF3 on ultra, and your talking about a card that is maybe 6 times weaker than the 7970m.
I have seen many 7970 run bf3 on ultra at 1080p with a very good framerate. Ofc. the ram and cpu has much to say here.
Still yes. you will be able to run it. Take your settings form BF3 and take around 10 fps off that and you get a pretty good picture.
You’re going to have a rough time. Apparently the 6770M only runs Battlefield 3 at low at ~40fps, so maybe BF4 at low may get you 30fps.
Hi Chris. With the system you mentioned you have no Discrete GFX installed and with only 4 gigs of ram. I’m afraid it’s not gonna run. You will be looking at 12-16 FPS at absolute low settings in the screens native solution. And that is not something you probably will enjoy.
I should think so
I am a Game Physics engineer. I do know a little stuff about games but if i get something wrong, don’t be afraid to correct me
What about my VooDoo2 card? Will that suffice?
Not by a long shot
i’m afraid.
I’ve noticed that some game developers put what it takes to run the game at 60 fps at low-medium settings as their recommended requirements, while others put their recommended requirements as the hardware needed to run max settings. Which is this? (I.E. are the recommended settings needed for max settings or just “OK” settings?)
In any case, how should I be able to run it with a 4GB GTX 670? How about if I SLI? (Which I probably will, regardless)
And notice, I asked “how should I be able to run it”, not “can I run max”. I’m pretty sure it can run max but I have a 120Hz monitor and need to know if it’s going to be used to its full potential.
With that card paired with a good CPU like i5 3570k or i7 3770k and the right amount and right speed of ram, you should be able to run over the 120 fps at the high settings or maybe even at ultra, with some settings turned a tad down. Adding another card in sli will surely make you run it at ultra in 120 fps.
I guess I’m all set then. I have a 4670K overclocked to 4.4GHz, so no problem there. Maybe I would need another 8GB stick, since BF4 is apparently going to be 64-bit and so will be able to use more than 3GB of RAM, but RAM is quite cheap.
Maybe the 770, definitely not the 690. It’s still kind of “maybe”, since that card can run games on max for maybe 2 more years.
Haha voodoo card , been a while since ive seen one of those.
But i can run crysis 2 and battlefield3 on high around of 50-60fps
Then you will be able to run this on high aswell, just expect the fps to be 40-50 instead.
You have one of the best cpu’s for this game, the calculations sent to the CPU is immense in BF3 and will be in BF4 even more. And the 1230 is a powerhouse when it comes calculations. And the GFX, no problem at all.
What can i run it at?
I5 3230m
7670m 2g
8g ram
Low at the very highest. The 7670M is actually quite weak.
I am going to buy new computer and i need advice.
Which is better for bf4?
7950 twin frozr 3 oc Boost with i5 3350p or with AMD8350
Is it gonna be optimized for octa cores(couse of consoles octa jaguar processors)?
I need fast answer, tomorrow is d-day…
Hi people
my pc is set
cpu fx-4100 (3.6 GHz)
gpu – shappire hd 7850 oc 2 gigabytes
8 gigabytes of RAM
250gb wb
I’ll play it on ultra
Actually, it’s kind of doubtful, since the FX 4100 is one of the worst single-core performers I’ve seen in a modern CPU.
I understand the fx 4100 is probably not quite as good as the i5 but I have no problems in games zadny lag bf3 ultra 1920×1080 and FPS 50-70
Bad cpu and low end graphic. Sorry. Low on 720p. CHange cpu to any i3 or i5 and u can get a good medium. Change cpu to i5 and graphic to gtx 700 series and u get ultra.
Could I run on 1080 medium 60+ FPS with:
i5 32210M 2.5GHz
GT 650 2GB GDDR5
6GB GDDR3 SM
I meant 3210M
This wouldn’t happen to be an Alienware, would it? And I assume you meant the GT 650M, since the GTX 650 is a desktop part.
In which case, you will be able to run it, but only on low-medium. The graphics are your problem.
i have i5 3570k , gtx 660 and 8gb ram DDR3 1800Mhz dual channel. i have good requirements to can play bf4?????
I have a commondore64 will it run this if i push the turbo button? I want to run it at ultra setting with at least 90+ fps
I’m wondering if I should upgrade my computer or buy a PS4 and it all comes down to how much I would need to spend to play THIS GAME. My computer is pretty ancient, I built it in 09 on a budget and haven’t upgraded it at all.
AMD Athlon II x2 250 3 GHz
4 GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 4650
32 bit Vista Home Premium
2 TB HD
Creative SB x-fi sound card (if that matters)
I use a 42 inch tv for my monitor (if that matters)
I don’t need ultra settings but would prefer at least a decent gaming experience with no lagging and jumping even if i have to run low settings.
uh… that was a question. Can I play this game and if not what would I need to be able to play smoothly on minimal settings.
You’re going to have some trouble playing it even on minimum settings. Those specs are pretty ancient.
Guys,I have a question. If I have the Core 2 Quadcore, this CPU will run the game? And if it does how many GHz should have?
It may allow low-medium settings, but at a lower framerate. More important is your graphics card; without it, we can’t determine how you would run it at all. Also, GHz is the worst indicator of CPU performance there is, you just have to look at benchmarks.
hi, im thinking of buying the gigabyte GF GTX 680 OC EDITION PCI-E 3.0 4GB and was wondering if that could get over 90+ on BF4 i currently have the 660 ti with the cpu i7 3770 (non k)
I don’t think there is much of a point in doing that, since the 660ti only performs maybe 30% lower than the 680. Just overclock it yourself.
Will it work on a nvidia geforce gtx 660 1.5 gb?
Yes, but only on medium-high. Also, even though it doesn’t make as much of a difference as your graphics card, your CPU is also important.
Will i be able to play bf4 with good graphics
Intel i5 haswell 4670k
GeForce GTX 770 2gb
8gb ddr3 ram
Full max, no problem. Try to overclock both your CPU and your GPU, since it does make a slight difference.
Omg dont listen it. Intel i5 is much more then needed for frostibte engine. Full hd Full detail Full aa high end graphic and cpu.Get money for game
I said it would make a slight difference, not that it isn’t enough.
Everyone knows that they can oc computers
But on that specifications he dont need.He will be have a staight 60fps with vsync.
I will be playing this smooth! Just pre-ordered it from origin.
Ive got:

cya on the battlefield
Nope u wont.7970 dont have good drivers yet. In september ATI will stop support 7970 beacuse its dont have much owners. So battlefield 4 will be relase after ati stop relase drivers for dual core graphic.
Will I be able to play this on a Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 on high settings?
I’ve got i5 4670k, 16gb DDR3, 7970 GPU, will I be ok on max settings???
Should be able to manage high-max, but your GPU may be a slight problem for max. Either way, don’t get a new machine, just get a GTX 770 or 760 and stick it in your current one.
It will run, at a decent setting, maybe high. Your biggest problem is your GPU, but it’s still not much of a problem.
Will i be able to run battlefield 4 on at least high settings with these specs
Intel core i7-2600k 3.40 processor
8GB ddr2 ram
AMD Radeon HD 6850 Graphics card
64 bit windows 7
IMO, you have a great CPU and lots of RAM, but that video card won’t get you to high settings, some of the settings will need to be on medium. I think this game is going to need two cards to max out, like the 7970/680/780
i have : core i3 530 2.9
geforce 660 gtx 2 gb
8 gb ddr3
460 psu
does the game work in meduim setting without lag ???
Will i be able to max it out ?
I got 8GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 64 Bit

Run-ok, but how? I dunno…really bad graphic card.
BF3 all on lowest 640x 480 20-30 fps i dont think i will run it…
On this graphic it could be possible to not run the game at any resolution.
Will this pc run it?

Good PC, middle end graphic. Maybe ultra on hd. Change graphic to 700 series and be prepared
What about the GeForce GTX Titan ? Im getting it soon.
Titan+this cpu and u dont have to look at recommended specification for next three years.
LOL. ok Thanks ! ill buy the Titan XD and im interested about your computers specs
?
I have i5 3570 k @ oc 4.5 ,16GB ddr crucial ballistix 1600 cl9 and msi gtx 780, im not worry about run it ultra on1366x768
You shouldn’t get it. The EVGA GTX 780 SC with the ACX cooler actually outperforms the Titan by a few percent, but is almost $350 cheaper.
Well the Titan performs better in games, but 780 performs better in all the rest, but i only care about the games since i will have the Titan and my Old GPU (GTX 660) connected so i dont need to worry about my performance suffering, and my computer will run fast. ( I got a good CPU, The Titan and GTX 660 will be good togheter – Titan will be my main GPU, 660 will just be another one connected..)
lol nice GPU.. and RAM.. and CPU…. and EVERYTHING ! your computer is perfect
Nope.U have better cpu and 780 is a titan looks like but really worse.
Well you shouldnt worry youll max it out .. CPU is great, GPU is perfect and RAM is good for the next year or two..
Wanna play BF4 togheter
? Im looking for someone to play with..
Origin ID : OneGoldKill
(I usually use Steam, but BF4 will only be comming on Origin so..)

Nope. U must add next Titan.
I’m not sure if this is meant as a joke, or if the poster thought he was successfully bragging about his beast system, but I love this.
Lol yeah… His system is too good O.o… Sli Titan ?! Seriously ?! How much money do you have lol ? You probobly spent it all on this 8000$ Computer -_-
BTW – I WANT THAT COMPUTER ! lol
Someone who has that computer is trying to trolling with that question. So trolling for trolling. BTW that kind of trolls has almost always very bad computers like dual core+gtx 8800 and trying give they self esteem boost by this kind of actions.
Yeah.. he probobly wants that computer but dosent have it
can i run ultra?
fx-6200 @4.2ghz
hd 7850 oc
8gb ram
win 7 64bit
WHAT DO YOU THING?
R u kiddin` me? cpu amd and low end graphic ? Maybe on 800×600 resolution. On hd maybe middle-high.
You seem to think that since something is AMD, it automatically makes it bad for Battlefield. Sure, it’s less optimized for AMD cards, but those specs can still manage 1080p fine with some tweaking.
Will i run it on max settings ?
Intel Core i5
Nvidia geForce GT 425
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 7 – 64 Bit
Nope. U have graphic card to microsoft office not for games. Ram could be a problem too on multiplayer.
LOL……. Thanks anyways lol.
Corsair 8GB CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE LP
EVGA GeForce GTX 650Ti 2048MB BOOST
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3,4GHz Black Edition
What do you think? Can I play in high/ultra settings with these? :).
Maybe medium details on hd. To Full hd u have low end graphic and your cpu have some years…
Good to see I won’t have to upgrade even for the recommended specs.
I’m afraid that you might have to. I always use recommended specs and the games all lag even while playing single player. I have a good fast stable internet. I always go higher than the recommended to be safe.
Ultra ond hd. On full hd u could be have a problem with this cpu.Ati handle battlefield worse than intel.
Please, stop giving your bad advice. First of all, that’s an AMD CPU, not an ATI CPU. ATI never even made CPUs, they made GPUs until they were bought by AMD and now AMD makes GPUs too.
Also, the CPU is fine, especially since it’s overclocked. In fact, it may even run better than on an i5 because Frostbite has the capability of using more than 4 cores.
And btw AMD has a pseudo cores its called a modules and isnt it funny that 4 core intel is much efficient than 6 core amd? Also dont u think its funny that 192 bit gtx 660 is faster than 256 bit radeon 7850? isnt that funny than any amd products has better tehcnology but is still weaker than other companies?
A single AMD core may be weaker than a single i5 core, but the thing that may give AMD the advantage here is that each module is still seen by the OS as 2 cores. In a game with the capability for 8 threads, the 8350 will still perform better than the i5.
Also, the fact that you’re comparing GPUs by the bit interface of memory betrays your ignorance. The amount of CUDA cores/stream processors is much more indicative of a GPU’s performance, although they aren’t comparable between AMD and Nvidia.
The bottom line is, an AMD card that’s strong enough will still easily handle BF4 on max, just not this card. Don’t go around implying that no matter how strong the AMD card is, it won’t run BF4.
Ultra on hd no problem. On full hd change graphic to 700series.
2gb Gtx 670’s sli

if i it my vram limit they will be sold for a single 780..
Ultra on hd but in full hd it can be very high-ultra
To future-proof my system should I get 4gb vram on a 760?Only 1080p gaming but they may start to use over 2gb in a year or so.
well just to let you all know i have a dual core intel a gtx 280 graphics 4 gig of ram an asus motherboard and it runs bf3 at maximum and very smooth my score is always good ,but it helps having a very good internet provider too
all this rubbish about what ya got can it do this, just play the game if it runs nice use what ya got, if not change it….. simple
High, maybe not Ultra. But 50-60fps should be easy with some tweaking.
720 easy on ultra. BF3 on hd and gtx 660 have ~100fps. So if battlefield 4 have a better graphic effects then it still can get 50fps.
help me to choose better graphics card for my intel core i3 3220 3.30GHz
Zeus GZ6400L
AMD FX-8150 3.6GHz

2TB HDD
2GB AMD Radeon HD 7850
can i run it and if so what rez and settings does anyone think
720p medium
would an amd fx-8350 cpu work?
Yes, it would easily ALLOW max settings, but what is more important is your video card. If you have a crappy card like a GT 610 or a Radeon 7450, no matter how good your CPU is, BF4 won’t run well.
Asus P8Z77-V LX
Asus gtx 770 2gb OC
i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz
Samsung 120gb ssd
700w psu
16gb DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
Will I be able to run on ultra 1080p with decent fps?
Quite easily. The 770 is a beast card.
what about the gtx 760?
High maybe on hd. gtx 570 is and old card…It had a problems on bf3 too.Change graphic and get ultra
I think u should. But this cpu can bottleneck ur graphic.
No, it can’t. The 8350 is just as good for gaming as any i5, especially well-threaded games such as games on the Frostbite engine.
I’m sure I am running BF3 on or around 60FPS on my:
AMD FX 6300
Radeon 7950 3GB
8gb 1866mhz vengeance
On ultra at 1080 of course.
So I am hoping I can achieve the same, similar for BF4. Especially as this rig smashes crysis 3 on pretty much max settings
How will an FX 8350 4GHZ and a Gigabyte 7870 2GB handle on BF4? Alongside 8GB DDR3 RAM. Like, what kind of settings/fps.
You should be able to run medium-high at 1080p.
Intel Core i5 2500k 3.3ghz
8 gig Gskill Sniper 1600mhz
Sapphire HD 6870 1Gig GPU
Kingston HyperX 120 Gig SSD
Asrock Extreme4 Z77 mobo
Raidmax RX-530SS PSU
I can run BF3 on high to ultra with no problems so I should be able to run BF4 on high (granted my resolution is 1360×780 being on a 32″ LED TV)
Is windows 8 fine for this? Or is it worse than windows 7?
Windows 8 is pretty fast
What settings can this run with?
AMD FX 8350 4GHz 8-core
Radeon HD 7870 2GB
Vengence 8GB DDR3
DOOD NICE PC and u will probably play bf 4 on ultra or high
Is The Following Specification Enough to Play in Ultra??
Intel Core i7 980x 3.33Ghz
12 GB corsair Dominator Ram
2X 1GB HD5850 Crossfired
Great CPU, you’ll be good for a few years with a mild over clock, but honestly, those GPU’s have to go, two hd 7770’s would smoke your cards. But a video card upgrade would serve you well.
You’ll have difficulty on anything but low settings and 720p.
Will bf4 be able to run on windows 8?
Yes, if Battlefield 3 could run on Windows 8, Battlefield 4 should be able to run on Windows 8
Yes, of course. It may even have some Windows 8 only optimizations.
my report
………………………………….
CPU- AMD FX-6200 6x 3.8GHz
GPU- GIGABYTE-HD 6850OC 1G
RAM 2X4 g 1600MHz
Windows 7 64-bit
Maybe medium-high at 1080p. Don’t let BF4 MASTER tell you otherwise; he apparently thinks that all Nvidia cards can run 60fps on ultra, which isn’t the case at all, especially with laptop cards.
Will i be able to play BF4 on high at a palyable fps?
Amd fx-6300 OC’ed to 4.1 ghz
evga gtx 650ti boost 2gb
8gb ripjaw ddr3 ram 1666
win 7 64 bit
i was able to play bf3 on ultra at 1920×1080 at a stable 45 fps and if i put it on high i got 60+ fps
I run bf3 maxed out on a phenom x2 940 quad core and radon hd4850 12gb ddr2 with no problem. Too much bs on here
Sure, on your iphone screen? You setup is extremely weak, the 4850 wont even run BF3 at low.
4850 will run just fine on low, but maxed out… well, i dont think so
I am going to buy extreme low budget rig, with: AMD Athlon II X4 640
HD 7750
4 Gb of 1666 Mhz RAM
I think i will be glad to have medium settings on it, with 900p. I just want to verify it and have another point of view. My budget is 200 dollars
if u have some ideas. I already have 500W Supply and I am going to buy MB from my friend for 30 dollars. I need more RAM (i have 2Gb right now), better proccesor and GPU( I have AMD athlon 64 x2 4000+ and HD 4770 so thats why im going again with AMD setup. thanks
You probably won’t even get medium, actually. The Radeon 7750 is quite a weak card and isn’t meant for much more than casual games or Minecraft.
Will an intel pentium g840 daul core 2.9 ,4gb 1000mhz and a radeon hd r6450 work with battlefiled 4
No. Weak CPU, weak GPU, just a generally weak system.
Yes, you’ll be able to play BF4. It’s a very weak system, however. If you wish to do Multiplayer, you’ll probably have to go on the lowest possible settings (With the exception of one or two settings) at a low resolution, maybe even less than 1280×720.
Hey i have a intel core i3 2120 3.3ghz and a geforce gt640 oc wil it run this gam with mediim or high at 40-60 fps ???? Not constant but average? ?
Maybe low at 40-60fps. To get better settings you’d need a better GPU.
@ Riqo – – It will work, in the sense work, what? yeah work.
But you have to buy another ANOTHER PC to Play it play play it PLAY IT.
Hi guys i have an intel i5 3330k with 6gb ram and a Gigabyte GTX660 2gb if ill be able to run bf4 how many fps will I hit on high/ultra? Thanks
My specs:
-i7-3630QM 3.4GHz (turbo boost)
-8gb RAM
-Nvidia 660M
-Win 8 64 bits
Can I run this?
On low-medium. The laptop version of the GTX 660M is actually quite weak.
Yes, probably on Ultra. The GTX 590 is on par or better than several high-end GTX 600 and 700 cards.
Yes, it will, but don’t expect full max settings.
i5 3570k
gtx 660oc 2gb vram
8gb ram
Win8
(Planning to get this pc, don’t have it yet)
DON’T GET THE 660. If you can, settle for a 760 or even a 7870. The 660 is about the same price as the 7870 and if you have a little more money to spend, get the 760.
So, what’s the big diffeence? Cause I don’t know
hey brother I have Intel core 2 extreme x9650 3.0ghz processor with 4 cores +8gb Ddr2 ram 800mhz+ hd Radeon sapphire 7750. vram 1 gb Ddr 5!can I able to play this game on high or medium?
I have
Windows 7 64 -bit
Intel i5 3450 3,1 ghz “4 cores†(3,5 in turbo)
Ram 16 gb 1600mhz dual channel
EVEGA Geforce 680 SC 2gb
Corsair HX 750
1st SDD 120GB
1st HDD 1TB
Do you guys think this will work for ultra on BF4? Because in BF3 it´s not a problem at all, not even in the game “Metro last light†at ultra in all.
Hey Guys will battlefeild 4 play on high with my system ?
GIGABYTE AMD RADEON HD 6870
8Gig Hyper X ram
Direct X 11
Windows 7 64bit
3.1GHZ
Or do i need to update my g-card?
i forgot to add i have an i5
I decided im gonna buy a Nvidia GTX760 gigabyte version. Can any one tell me who bf4 will run on that setup?
Could I max out bf4 with these specs? AMD eight-core FX-8350 4.00GHz, 16GB DDR3, 2TB HDD, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti?
hola con una gtx 580 andara el battlfield 4 o una radeon 7950 anda dicen y en que resolucion
can i run this with an intel i7 2600k, 8 8gb DDR3 and a nvidia 8800gts 512mb ? (i know that the whole rig is bottlenecked by the graphics card, but ima gonna wait for the ati 9000 HD series)
Please tell me if i can max out BF4 with these specs @ FHD Screen
Intel Quad core i5-2320 3.00GHZ
8GB RAM
GTX 760 SLI
Tell me please!
Hi guys my system;i5 3230M 2.6 Ghz 8 Gb Ram AMD Radeon 7670M 2 Gb DDR 3 64 bit
Which quality play ? High-Medium ? :/
Im able to max out bf3 on with my fx-8350 black edition and 7850 1gig edition (with a bit of gpu overclocking) but im probably just gonna upgrade to a 7990 or 7970. should i do that or crossfire another 7850?
A single card high-end is always a better idea than 2 lower-end cards, even if the 2 lower-end cards outperform it. There’s less heat, less power consumption, and you have the potential for an even more powerful Crossfire in the future.
However, just to get something straight with you, the 7990 is $1000. Not in the same price range as the 7970. xD
im wondering about my sli 560ti’s ( slightly overclocked ) having some problems?
So I’ve got a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 with a AMD ii x4 965 black. Do you think I’ll be able to play this game on decent settings? I’m playing on a 1600×900 monitor. With 8 gigs of ram I think at 1333. I don’t care about maxing the game I just wanna play with a smooth framerate.
Can I run bf4 at ultra settings with i7 4770k @ 4.4 GHz and gtx 760 2way sli. A
I got Intel core 2 quad q6700 @ 2.6ghz
Asus p5q pro
6gb RAM
280GTX
and im runnig bf3 1080p on high in SP but medium in MP so maybe i run bf4 in medium? Or should i by 660 gtx?
i7-2600k @3.8 and gtx 680 slight OC on a 2560×1440 res at high settings and am getting @77 fps on small maps and @55fps on the huge maps. People with new rigs shouldnt fret
DO NOT GET INTEL!
AMD & EA have contracts (I don’t know a lot about it, sorry) which says BF and other EA games preform better on AMD computers. And AMD is cheaper, so you can always get the liquid cooler and other extras
I know they have a contact but it basically for the opening sequence, like AMD performance gaming with battlefield etc.
AMD CPU’s are different look up benchmarks yes an AMD 8 core will surpass an Intel i5 (sometimes) at multitaking but core clock for clock Intel have miles better single threaded performance, game benchmarks are sometime ^30%.
Before posting next time look up benchmarks and read the information about “AMD & EA have contracts (I don’t know a lot about it, sorry)” the contract is to put AMD advertising in the game not to say it will outperform.
The GTX 660ti destroys most AMD counterpart for BF3 performance Nvidia hit that game on the head with there cards. I think what you should have said in your post is do not go for nvidia as BF4 might have 100FPS on AMD and 60FPS on nvidia (when compairing 2 similar cards).
I am not a fanboy I have owned both AMD, Nvidia and Intel, in my opinion Intel CPU trumps AMD CPU and Nvidia trumps AMD but AMD have the price performance ratio.
I currently own i7 4770K, 16 GB Ram and a AMD 7950, I am happy I can play most games maxed out , but will likely have to turn some effects down in BF4.
I’m running an fx-8320 overclocked at 4.2ghz with a msi lightning gtx 680 which I have no trouble running bf3 at 1080p maxed settings. This setup should run bf4 with no trouble right?
My Rig
Xeon W3680(i7 980x)@ 3.72/3.89 turbo on Antec Kuhler h2o 920
12gbs 1600 triple channel
Galaxy gtx 660ti 3gb edition sli (just added the second one)
500gb Momentus XT
This is a dual card game, I think I can max out all the eye candy at 1080, but I may need more powerful cards.
No, you don’t need more powerful cards. A single 660 ti will be able to run high if not max, 2 660 ti’s will crush the game.
Thanks, I hope your right.
Will i able to run it on my rig?
I run BF3 on ultra with full AA at 45-60 fps
AMD FX 4300 OC’d to 4.2 GHz
AMD Radeon 7870
8 gb DDR3 Ram
what can my i7 4770 3.4 GHz with 12gb ram, GeForce gtx 640 handle
you can easily run high with at least 70 fps and maybe ultra with around 40 fps, just guessing on the ultra, someone will have to check me on that.
im got windovs xp professional
I have a core 2 quad q9450 at 2.66ghz with a gtx 670 and 8 gigs of ram can i play it?
You can play it, but your CPU is a pretty major bottleneck. Upgrade your CPU and your motherboard, and you’d be all set.
I have a EVGA GTX 560 SC and my CPU is a i7 Ivy Bridge and I have 8 GB of RAM and I can play BF3 on Ultra setting real smooth so I’m pretty confident I’ll be able to play BF4 at least on high so I’m not soiling myself about video card… yet…
I’m thinking about buying this computer
Intel core i7 4770k 3.50 ghz
Hdd 2 tb
16 GB ram
Nvidia GeForce gtx 770 2gb super clocked
Will it do bf4 max? If so fps
It will easily do BF4 max.
Although can I suggest something? Build your own computer instead of buying one. You’ll save a lot of money, and have a more balanced build than what they would be offering you.
thanks and im buying one from a custom pc maker not a large brand. Will there still be a big price difference if i build 1 myself?
Yes, you’ll see one of the biggest price differences if you build it yourself over if you buy from a company like CyberPowerPC, iBuyPower, Maingear, or Falcon Northwest. They have some of the most overpriced computers I’ve ever seen.
Phenom II x4 965 BE @ 4ghz
Radeon HD 6870 1gb
8gb RAM
1600×900 display
Guys, what do you think?
Eh, decent enough, maybe medium-high.
Can I play this game on intel core i3
Depends on what i3.
I had bottlenecks with the i3 530, but a lot of people say the i3 3220 is fine.
I use GTX 550 Ti and FX 8320 overclocked at 4.0GHz
Will it run fine?
Low-medium. Your GPU is a bottleneck.
That’s sort of good news for me, cause i was planning on getting a new GPU
Well, then, good for you, you should be able to run well then. I’d suggest a GTX 760, if you happen to be around that price point, because the 760 has pretty good price/performance and should easily max BF4.
I use Dell Inspiron N series, Intel core i3 inside, Ati 512 mb graphic card, ddr3 3gb ram, windows 32 bit os, M 350 @2.27GHz
Will BF4 run fine?
-SugamS
The VRAM amount doesn’t show performance at all; you need to give us the actual model of the GPU for us to know anything about it.
However, just judging from the fact that there are no modern GPUs with 512MB VRAM, I’ll go out on a limb here and say you probably can’t run it very well.
ChildOfBodom and 3D-FX i’m going to make a lot of people’s life easier with this:
ChildOfBodom do an AMD (GPU) to go high settings 60FPS 1080p
3D-FX do a NVidia (of course it’s GPU) to go high setting 60FPS 1080p also!
You can choose what’s left (Cpu, motherboard and Ram, cause i don’t want to make you trouble finding the rest) no matter what brand!
Thank You!
Wait, so you’re just recommending an AMD GPU and a Nvidia GPU? As in, the Radeon 6450 and the GT 610 will both work?
(In case you don’t know, they will not.)
Be more specific.
I Have an AMD FX-6300 processor and a ATI Radeon 7850 2 Gb and 8 memory .
Can I play this game on High ??
Maybe medium-high. The 7850 will be your problem on anything higher.
Will this run Bf4 in ultra 1080p
AMD FX 8120 Zambezi 8 x 3,1 GHz (OctaCore)
16GB DDR3 1600MHz
Asus, AMD Radeon HD7970 3GB
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Pretty sure this will handle BF4 on ultra 1920×1080:
I7 2600 stock.
8gb ram-ddr1333. G Skill F3-10666CL9-4GBNT–> 2x4gb.
5TB hdd 10k rpm.
GTX780 Zotac-ref. design.(stock).
650w sweex. PSU.
Asus P8H77-M-pro.
Yea, I think that the win8 non-compatibility is just a bug in the alpha. If the game wont work I will de very disapointed and I will not get win8 for my computer I’m planning to build
ooh okey well thx you , but if i overclock it two +135 MHz and +400 MHz will it make any diffrence ? (with nividia inspector)
hi do you guys think i can run bf4 on this: GeForce GTX 660M Intel core i5-3210M @ 2.50 GHz with turbo too 3.2 (i think) 6GB DDR3 and HDD 750GB 7200 rpm ?
with +135 MHz and +400 MHz overclock on NIVIDIA inspector ?
Not very well, I’m afraid. The GTX 660M is only equivalent to a low-mid ranged desktop GPU, and the overclock only raises it about 15%.
Will this run Bf4 in ultra 1080p
AMD FX 8120 Zambezi 8 x 3,1 GHz (OctaCore)
16GB DDR3 1600MHz
Asus, AMD Radeon HD7970 3GB
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
The CPU might be a problem. Upgrade that to a FX 6300/8320 and you’ll be fine.
Get a 3570k (or a similarly priced AMD CPU) and a £200+ GPU and you’ll be fine playing on ultra with some overclocking (may not even need to OC).
Was that for me or the other guy?
Sorry for askin stupid but i am just a little confused.
Intel Core i5-4670k
GeForce GTX 760 2gb
8bg ram
120gb ssd
1tb
win8 64 bit
will it run bf4 ultra ?
I bet that allmost every card can get bf4 going smothly if u have a card for 150 and up. In getting the sapphire radeon 7970 and that will max bf4
Guys Could I run BF4 on max settings (or high) with my system?
FX 6200 @3.8GHz
Ati 6870 IceqX 1gb (could share up to 3gbs)
12GB Ram 1333MHz
I will be playing in 1920*1080
I should say Medium, High will probably be laggy, Due to the slow Cpu and the Low amount of Vram. Shared ram doesn’t scale your performance in demanding games, especially at 1333 mhz, you need at least 1866 mhz ram before you can feel the slightest difference.
upgrading my HD 6570, im either getting the 7770 ghz edition or the 7790, which do you think? Is the 7790 that much better? Im not looking for Ultra settings, at least not till I upgrade the rest of my rig. Thanks.
Comparing 7770 Ghz to 7790 is about head to head. The 7790 features more stream processor’s but with less ram, the difference can be marginal, the 7770 ghz will in games sucking a lot vram overtake the 7790 but the 7790 is marginal better because of more shader’s and stream processor’s. If you are planning on a lot of BF4 pick up the 7770 with 2 GB ram, if you can find a 2 GB 7790, thats the way to go.
Thats a hard one, the HD4000 was not a good graphics processor, it’s only slightly better than the HD3000. You will probably be looking at 20 fps on low and you will have to go down some steps in res. to about 1280×720. I would have put in a i5-3570k and used the saved money for the start on saving’s for some discrete graphics.
Save a little money and get a gtx 650 ti boost or a radeon HD 7770 Ghz. If you want to enjoy the game, you have to get discrete graphics.
150$ Graphics should be able to cut it.
Guys Could I run BF4 on medium or high settings with my system ?
CUP : Intel Core i5 2.27 GHz
RAM : 4 GB
GPU : AMD HD 5145 1GB
Hard drive : 500 GB
WINDOWS 7 HOME PRIMUME 64BIT
I want to answer
That’s a tough one, good thing origin lets you return a game if you got it recently. Definitely not high settings MAYBE medium but you’re gonna have to run it in low I’m assuming since I can run BF3 in high settings with no issues at all and with ultra if I reduce the resolution to 720p and my specs are a but better than yours in most ways, not bragging they’re not gaming specs either, but you might be able to run it fine in medium with some boosters. You could upgrade too if you have a desktop
I’ll be able to run it doubt full Max settings but at least ultra with as of on bf3 was around 50-70fps so I’m guessing 45-60 on this game.
My specs:
Intel core i7 4700k
GTX 765M
8GB RAM
WIN 7
DUAL SSD GRADE 0
BF4 is not very much more demanding than BF3, so you will probably be looking at those framerates yes.
Not sure what to do?
i want my computer to be cheaper, so i getting the Single 3GB NVIDIA GTX 770M overclocked but im not to sure if itll run bf4, can someone help cause it it cant run then im getting the Single 4GB NVIDIA GTX 780M overclocked. msg bak soon
Hello Harry,
Since you are getting a laptop, the 770M will not be powerful enough to run BF4. Even though the minimum requirements for BF4 graphics card is a A modern DX11 graphics card with 1 GB of video memory, GeForce 600 series or Radeon 7000 series. 600 series and 7000 series are desktop versions of a card, therefore even though yours is in the 700 series you will definately need to get the 780M overclocked. It is more future-proof and is good for running high quality programs. As well as games, your gaming card will be perfectly able to run BF4 on ultra graphics, do not go any lower, or your performance on your pc will decrease in future proof and games later on.
Thanks
Probably ultra, but it might drop to 40 fps from time to time
Maxing it should be doable. But you would be able to run it at high for sure.
this game is going to look really good on your system maybe not maximum but high is going to look better than ultra on bf3, the fx 8350 would be a power move, and this game is amd friendly and will utilize the threading capabilities on that chip. The 2gb 650 ti cards with 192 bit bus is what I’m assuming you have, right?
I have a Sapphire HD 7950 vapour-x OC 3GB paired with an FX-8350 turbo and 8GB ram. How will i do?
High settings whil get decent fps
hey guys I’m switching from console to pc and I’m debating on whether I should get the 660 or the 7870, by the way I’m getting a fx-6300 3.7 GHz will I be able to run this game on high or even ultra ?
I played BF3 on a 6870 with an i7 and 8gb of RAM. It rocke dthe game no issues. The only upgrade I have done since is putting another 8gb in the tower and only because as I could. I dont see me having any issues with BF4. That said, it gives me a great reason to go upgrade.
At certain point, I feel like having the PS4 without having to argue about “can my rig run BF4″, then all my problems solved. Sadly, I have a huge doubt over the PS4; I have no interest in their launch games.
I have a pc with everything to run bf4 on recommended except for my graphics card. I have an AMD radeon 6870gt and im wondering if this will do for recommended/minimum or will i need a new graphics card? Please reply since i am new to pc and dont know a whole deal about it.
i really want that ps4 and pc players can play together cause i have 3 frinds that play it on ps and me alone on pc its just all gamers dream not only mine!!! (reply to my email thank you)
ROFL soo soo soo many comments from people who know nothing besides brand names of there pc components… Playing BF4 now on a Intel Core 2 Duo (E6850) [<- Yes, thats pretty impressive.] , Windows 7 home prem, 8.00 GB DDR3 (Kingston hyper threaded.) And a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650.
I am about to play it on my Phenom 9550 quad core
im trying to update my nvidia drivers but it says i have no compatable software even tho i have geforce gt650 im playing on 2013 21.5 inch imac bootcamped for windows can any1 help me out so i can start owning every1 ASAP ! ! ! thanks
Error: Detected AMD Radeon driver version 12.6. The recommended driver version is 13.9 or later. Please update your driver.
Problem is there are no 13.9 drivers available, just AMD Software, that does not update display drivers.
I have ati raedon 3000 graphics and amd six core bulldozer processor
will bf4 work
So funny reading these comments.
people love to brag about their hardware in the form of a question…..
“will it run the game”.
LOL….
Dont mind squid here, His comment whil be deleted soon^^^
Knowing nothing about computers, i managed to find out how to even find out what graphics card(s) i have (YAY). No idea what it means though so…
AMD Radeon HD 7700M Series
Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000 – Im guessing that’s a secondary graphics card?
I also know that i have i5 and 4gb of ram. It’s a laptop btw, just wondering if it’s a good enough one for stable gameplay. Appreciated thanks.
ah damn, although that graphic minimum is 512mb but it need intel core i5 and 4GB memory damn. Not enough power to play this game :(.
so I have a amd fx8320 8core with sapphire hd 2gb 7870 oc and 2 4gb adata 1600mhz ram you think I can run it well at max settings?
Will it run smoothly on hp pavilion 15-n007ax??
pls ans…
all you posers: i’m running DOS 5.1 on a twin tape machine, and when i start up the lights go out in the kitchen. this makes my 45 kg wife come into my computer room and beat me over the head with a wok….so it becomes Battlefield 5, in 3D and so much reality!!!!
is this maximum requirements?
Just to say, I have an AMD FX-4170 @4.2Ghz, 24 gb of 1333mhz RAM and a CLUB 7870 2gb, and I can run the game at 1080p at high settings, at a steady 120 fps. Only when there are HUGE explosions, there are significant frame drops, but never going below 30. To all of you with i5’s, i7’s and MOST Nvidia GPU’s, you’ll be able to run it absolutely fine. If you have a Duo – core, Athlon, and anything under a 630 or a 6670 and less than 8 gb of RAM, you’ll need to upgrade your system to get the game looking good whilst playing with good FPS.
do you think it will run on my computer i have an acer computer with 8 gigs of RAM and 500 gigs of space but i dont know if i can run this game bc i have windows 8 and im not familiar with graphics cards???…………i guess what im asking is is an invidia GEOFORCE 710m good or no???
I got a AMD 3.11 GHz processor. Do you think it will run BF4 with NO lag?
Depends what grapics card youre using
Game rocks…
ofc with the right system….
sapphire 270x dual x 4gb, amdfx 8350 4.0 ghz, 16 gb ram
Can I run this game at high quality on my system?
My spec
I7 3770k 4.5ghz
HD6870s 950/1150
16gb 2400mhz ddr3
900p monitor
Iam looking for atleast 30fps+
at 720p cuz your monitor is only 900p
I have an ASUS CM series desktop with:
Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 2gb
16gb RAM DDR3
AMD 3Ghz 8core FX series CPU
1TB 7200rpm HDD
is my desktop able to run BF4 top settings?
how well does a Radeon 7000 series work on this
Just tell me what kind of computer to buy. I don’t want to build one, to lazy. I just want to know what will run it the best. I’ve got a budget of about 2k just tell me what I need to buy.
Does this game work on windows 7 hp desktop with AMD Athlon 2 X2 245e processor and 2.9 ghz
Do you guys think i can run at high? (or even ultra??) this Please help me ?
Nvidia Geforxce Gtx 660 2GB’s
AMD a8-5500 3.2 ghz 3.7 ghz turbo
8Gb of ram
Windows 7 64 Bit
Thank you please respond fast …
You’ll have to be overclocking your processor to at least 3.6 GHz at all times while playing then you can probably play it with most setting on high but u might have to give up a few things here and there then sure.
I really like battlefield and i recently got a PC.
My question is can i run it with-
Windows 8
Processor- Intel Celeron CPU 1007U 1.50GHz (2CPUS), ~1.5GHZ

My System is-I3 2310m 4gb Ram 3ghz processor and most least a Laptop
can i run this with my intel(r)HD graphics card?
i had played it with intel hd graphics 3000 it is running well
At the moment I run this game with a 1090t, 4gb ddr3 1600mhz and a 512mb 5670 on low with a low res (1152 x 768) and it does pretty well (60fps vsync) but it does drop quite a lot to around 30fps when there is a lot of action (Operation Locker 64 players) so I really couldn’t see how this game would work with a dual core cpu, 4gb ram and 512mb card that they say is the minimum. Would be interesting.
The ram is supposed to be 1840 MHz for the minimum settings.
Will be i able run it on this ? – Lenovo IdeaPad S500 59-405744
