Battlefield 4 Z-9The Battlefield 4 Z-9 (or Z-9 Haitun) is a transport helicopter used by the China faction in the game. The Z-9 in Battlefield 4 is based on the Eurocopter Dauphin, and is mainly a transport and utility helicopter in the game. While the Battlefield 4 Z-9 has access to basic weapons such as side-mounted machine guns for passengers and rocket pods for the pilot, those are generally only meant for defensive purposes.

The Z-9, also known as the WZ-9 or the Z-9 Haitun, was first introduced by the Chinese military in the early 1980s, and has been in service ever since. It was first featured in the Battlefield series in BF2 Modern Combat.

The Z-9 Haitun in Battlefield 4 is mainly a transport helicopter that can be equipped with some offensive unlocks, such as rocket pods. It’s very comparable to the UH-1Y Venom “Huey”, used by the US faction.

Battlefield 4 Z-9 tips

The Battlefield 4 Z-9 Haitun is mainly a transport helicopter, mean to quickly ferry squads and soldiers to various points on the map. It has some defensive measures such as flares against enemy AA such as the IGLA, and rocket pods which are good against light-armored vehicles. As with other transport helicopters, staying low and flying fast is usually the best tactic for getting from point A to B quickly and safely.

Battlefield 4 Z-9 unlocks

The Z-9 features several unlocks in Battlefield 4, but most are defensive ones. The pilot can unlock rocket pods, and several defensive countermeasures, such as Flares against enemy AA.
